yung pinsan ko installed an aftermarket tach sa galant nya, yung malaki and installed it sa may iababaw ng dashboard on the left most side... ang di ko ma gets eh bakit pa? may tach na naman dun sa dashboard instruments nya - stock kumabaga... sabi nya sakin pang japorms daw tsaka para alam nya yung kelan sya magshi-shift ng gear, pero para sa akin parang hazardous pa nga kasi compromised yung road visibility behind the wheel... yun saganang akin lang naman...
what do guys think about it?

eh kung sa engine mods na lang nya ginastos yung mga kaeklatan nya ma sok pa siguro.

I guess kung harcore drag oks lang, pero not for dailies.

January 29th, 2004 09:52 PM #10Pangracing yun Monster Tach at kung stock lang car mo hindi muna siya bumili nun. Nagmodify muna siya ng engine niya.Pero yan ang gusto ng ibang tao kaya ok lang yun...
Ano ba yun monster tach na binili niya? Autogauge ba?
Its better if he buys the splitfire made in U.S pa para hindi sayang...Range kase ng mga tachs na monster ay 6,000-20,000...

February 1st, 2004 01:20 PM #17its a visual aid that tells you when its time to shift up... parang flashlight na maliit (magnalight) ang itsura at programmable ito sa electronics ng car at pwede mo icustomize kung kelan sya iilaw.
maiintindihan ko pa yung mga auto na bumibili ng monster tach na walng OEM tach, at least yun may silbi talaga

Bilhin mo yung autogauge kaso taiwan 2 inches lang yun may shiftlight pa
Sa akin kase monster tach kaya tatlo ang wirings nun...yung red wire sa ignition switch yun black yung ground at yun green sa standard ignition or sa electronic ignition...

yes madali lang....one wire posite current, one wire ground (negative) and the other sensor (the fourth wire is for light) which you would attach to the induction coil (positive yata) terminal.
