    Hello guys!

This is my 1st time to post here. I'm a new member. The reason why I joined is my girlfriend and I want to purchase a vehicle of our own. Our 1st. Please help us how. Below are the questions we'd like to ask the experts:

    1. What are the papers we need to check from the owners/sellers?
    2. How do we transact business? Deed of sale, Change of ownership etc..?
    3. LTO registrations...?
    4. Any sort of forms, papers we need to execute, sign and fill out to make the transaction valid?

    Thanks in advance!

Sir bududz, kung brand new, tawaran mo lang and get an O.R. from the dealer, dapat may invoice din clearly stating what car you got, options, freebies, and that they will do the LTO & insurance for you (if included)...

    kung used:

1.) Required: OR, CR, Tax Declaration (kung gray market import), PC Clearance (sa TMG ito). Optional: Maintenance records.
2.) Notarized deed of sale lang, ask any lawyer. Then go to no.3...
3.) If used car, the LTO ofc where it was last registered... so avoid any cars with OR/CR from the provinces... hassle yun, you have to go there.
    4.) See no.2

Pag usapan niyo muna ng gf niyo kung ano mangyayari sa car if you two would unfortunately not end up getting married. And put it in writing.

Happened to my cousin. They buy Miata, they break up, my cousin (the girl) keeps the car.

right...baka mas hassle pa yong pag-settle kung kanino mapupunta yong car kung sakaling(wag naman sana) magkahiwalay kayo, rather than the actual acquisition of the car. pero kung pera nya lahat gagastusin, bring it on! hehehe..

Hirap ganyang situation, kasi kahit if you're married....conjugal property yung mga bahay at mga cars....anyway, since bibili pa lang naman kayo....make sure the paperworks is intact and the registration name decided kung kanino ipapangalan pati na rin sa invoice(brand new) or deed of sale(used).
