200k, tapos na ang isa, but that depends on how well you scout the car. (Mga 65 to 69 Mustang Coupe and 67 to 69 Cougars as starting point to a learning process) . Both the initial cost and the condition must be taken into consideration, plus the collectibility and the WOW factor must be excellent, so as when you decide to sell, you can still make a profit. hehe.

There has been a growing market for Muscle Cars in the last two years, Mustangs and Camaros top the list of much desired cars. You will be surprised, but foreigners(French, Swedes, Australian, Amricans, and Japanese) are trooping in my garage trying to buy some of my cars. Its sad to think that when we sell it to them, they will forever be gone to a far away land(kaya ayw ko nang magbenta, wala na din mabili). They are being shipped overseas. Even Yuppies in their late 20s and early 30s are being bitten by the bug and trying to hitch on the Muscle car phenomena.

Gosh, if I did not sell my cars in the late 80s, I will be a rich man today. Sayang, but that is the way the ball bounces.

    Sir Turbo,

200k thats all in? the project car and restoration costs included? Say I want a 1st generation Camaro for a project car will 200k still be enough. I just want the standard V8 engine and no go fast goodies. Plus the car should at least look original.

I believe that the 200k is just for the restoration. The cost of the car itself is another matter.

A first generation plain vanilla Camaro ('67-'69) with a V8 engine (difficult to find) would easily cost you from 200k to 350k depending on the condition. A very desirable Z28 first generation camaro will easily cost you 350-400k. A big block '69 "Yenko Camaro" will easily set you back 500-750k or even a million bucks if the condition is immaculate.

200k ok na if you will start with a cheap restorable car. Pero nakaka-addict, that is when the cost gets bigger. Kailangan makita munang sanay sa Muscle cars and Cmaro bago bilin
para atleast ma-estimate ang cost and parts.

i found this ford pick-up sitting inside a carenderia. from my guess is, its model is from late 40's to early 50's. needs some real paint job and minor fixing. the last time is was seen running was december of 2001.

a friend told me that it's one of the rarest to be found here in the Phils.

the owner died last year, and his children are a bit hesitant of selling it coz they don't know of how much they should sell it. the biggest offer to buy it so far is around 100k. i don't really know it's street value. maybe turbo can help us.
