The 454 BIG BLOCK Chevy has finally arrived.

Now comes the fun part of shoving it inside the engine bay of a 69 Camaro.

The Eaton blower and Fogger NOS for the 460 of my friend has arrived from the Staes also. This one is more difificult and tricky.Hehehe

Check out the '69 Camar0 and '70 Camaro restored by the famous Chip Foose of Foose Design.

It aint a purist's restoration. Instead, it incorporated 21st technology in suspension, wheel/tyre package, and engine performance.

Nice! BTW I always see Foose and Troy Trepanier work together on certain projects... with Foose working on the design and Trepanier on the mechanical side, I wonder who's the better of the two in restoring cars.

for me, incomparable sila...perfect match silang dalawa...foose on designs and troy on mechanical...also, hilig talaga ni foose is designing wheels while troy is an excellent fabricator

Sabi sayo maganda din ang 69 Camaro, 200k pala ang asking don sa sinasabi ko sayo. Same as the black one in your picture(but missing the headlight doors). 6 cylinder sya, pwede mong gamitin na.

Read this thread and find out how Americans are dying to have a Philippine assembled YUTIVO Camaro.

Used to have a 1964 Chevy Malibu SS 283 cu. in. V8 engine with 4-barrel carbs in the Phil. Uso pa noon ang drag racing sa escarpment road in pasig. Lots of power !!! Sayang, i had to sell it.

hey woodfire, musta na ang Mustang mo!

nakausap ko si Johnny sa Atlanta when I was there two weeks ago and sabi niya nag-order ka raw ng high performance Holley Aluminum Head w/large intake/exhaust valves! Ayus yan, easily plus 50hp and torque yung '67 stang mo together w/your hot cam shaft, roller rockers and solid lifters!

PICs naman pag-natapos na yung project mo! Panay performance parts na laman niyan ha!

Kina Deo a.k.a Turbo sa Bocaue Bulacan! His garage is a virtual muscle car transhow!

Hoy Rick a.k.a. OSAMA, nakabalik ka na pala! Kamusta yung bakasyon mo sa U.S.? Yes, nagpapahanap ako ng pre-owned/used Holley or Edelbrock aluminum heads. Preowned lang kasi di ko kayang bumili ng brand new! OK daw ang muscle car parts swap market sa U.S. (west coast and mid-south like Georgia). 50% to 60% off the brand new price!!!

Restoring and modding a 1970 Mustang dubbed "The Gambler"

... instead of using body filler or fiberglass on rusty floorboards and doors, for example, they cut out the rusty sections and welded in new panels. The drivetrain was a 600 hp crate engine from Ford racing backed up by an Art Carr C6 and a new Moser 9” rear axle. Unique Performance installed their cool front and rear suspension kits that use adjustable coilover shocks and tubular control arms, Baer Brakes chipped in a complete four-wheel disc setup, Vintage Air hooked up the HVAC system, Kicker created a one-off stereo system, Magnaflow did a complete custom exhaust system, the interior guys stitched up a custom leather interior, Foose did a fantastic design that sort of mimicked a ’70 Boss scheme and whittled a set of unique billet aluminum 19” and 20” wheels, and BF Goodrich hand-carved a set of tires with a cool horsehead logo in the tread...

The cost of running a muscle car is even higher than that of acquiring and restoring one!
