since used car na, you're better off with a toyota. dami parts, toyota reliability. you can get a corolla gli 97 or later for that budget.

ive been considering kasi corolla gli 97 kasi me kaibigan ako nakakuha ng mga around 250 pero parang mas mahal sya sa mga sites... sige tingin pa ko...

at least ngayon marami pa palang ibang choices..

at that price, the following are your choices:

a 95-98 Corolla XE or GLi.
a 94-95 Mitsu Lancer Itlog (GLi to GLXi)
a 97-98 Mitsu Lancer Pizza (EL-GLXi)
a 96-97 Mazda Familia (GL-GLXi) * my recommendation
a 94-96 Honda Civic (don't know if this contains a VTi variant)
a 96-99 Honda City
