it's a really nice car. very impressed with honda, who imo was kinda going downhill with both the civic and the accord for a while
hmmm medyo nga. and after watching the video, panay close up yung mga kuha which kinda masks its true looks. i have a feeling it could be like the city which is quite unproportioned. well, i hope it's looks won't be disappointing in real life.
we're getting the JDM version here... mas maganda imo kesa dun sa USDM version...
may test unit sa sta. rosa, itinakbo pa sa SSH nung isang araw na debadged... e obvious naman... hehehe
Q1 available na daw... finally may SiR na ulit with a 2.0 DOHC engine.
personally i like the interior, nice gauges and comes with paddle shifters
may SIR na ulit? anong engine gamit? baka ung 2.0 ulit tulad ng current civic. hehehehe.
Alam ko 1.8 ata yung standard engine, with 5-speed manual or 5-speed automatic. Interior is nice, but I hope there's more than 2 spokes on the steering wheel.
Let's hope this 8th gen Civic can finally fill in the shoes of the very successful 6th gen, but I would have liked the USDM rear.
SiR or Si version sa US has 197hp so baka modded KA20Originally Posted by fLaKeZ

From TOV website:
completely stock dyno runs:The K-series Strikes Again
The 2006 Civic Si's K20Z3 engine is one more member of the highly exalted K-series lineup. Combining elements from a variety of other K-series engines (K20A2 style head, Euro-R RBC intake manifold, K20A3 style balance shaft, K20Z1 style camshafts, etc.), it exhibits a smooth, refined demeanor along with a typical Honda high rpm rush of power, and a typical Honda VTEC dip as well.
While nothing leads us to believe that the K20Z3 won't be just as capable in the aftermarket as other K-series engines, it does face the hurdle of a completely new ECU and drivebywire, so modifications may be a little more difficult (we'll be the first to tell you in our project car chronicles).
1st run 197.9hp
2nd run 204hp
3rd run 209hp
I bet the next new thread at the Car Comparisons Forum would be...
Z3 or MZ3? :evillaugh

wow. so i guess it really deserves the award over the other, even marquee, brands
