For the 10,000KM PMS, I spent about 8,200 pesos.
Then for the 20,000 PMS, it was 9,350.00 pesos.

In general, the service that I am getting with Bonifacio Ave. Foton is very good. From the Service Supervisor down to the Mechanic, they are all approachable and customer oriented. Even in other branches na na try ko (QC and Pasong Tamo Extn.), mababait sila and you can tell them your concerns. If they cannot resolve it at their level, they contact the plant in Subic and ask for assistance or schedule if further fixing is needed.

I guess they have been trained that way dahil expected nga nila na a lot of complaints (small or big) will come in their way because of the "stereotype" filipino in us na "China brand kasi yan eh".... "Sirain kasi yan eh".... "puro problema yan kasi lemon yan eh"....

Pretty good figures when compared to the MU-X maintenance of every 5K KMS. Eto yung breakdown ng MU-X 3.0 AT until 20K kms na aabot ng 33K.
    5K kms - Php 5K
    10K kms - Php 8K
    15K kms - Pho 5K
    20K kms - Php 17K

Hopefully Foton will be here to stay. Regardless of the "China" stigma, I am still glad that this is Philippine made. Based on feedback from previous owners, mukhang eto ang magiging direction nila.

Every 10K ang PMS Boss. They are using Fully Synthetic oil. When I have the time, I'll put in the breakdown of the cost.

    Hi Sir.
Paki-verify naman kung FS oil ang ginamit sa unit mo.
Sa unit namin, mineral oil lang. Pero 10k kms or 3moonths oci pa rin ang sinusunod, yun daw ang advise ng planta.
(i assume mineral oil kasi P250/liter lang. Gulf yung tatak)

What i can say about the China car Stigma is it will never dissapear. Even the Korean Car stigma is still there, even though they are alr already at par with the Japanese in terms of build quality.

I agree, because the source of the stigma is still there.
Quality is very far from Japanese cars.
Our unit is just 1year/5k kms old and now needs to be fixed at the casa for 5 days because of manual transmission issues.
Vibrating rear-view mirror is really annoying.
    Replaced all wipers already.
Had several aircon and headlight issues, already fixed by the casa. But still, consumed our time and effort.
Overall owning, driving and maintaining experience is sh!t.

    A: synchronizer daw.

Q:Di kaya maluwag lang yung screw nung ball joint ng rear view mirror mo?
A: Tignan ko mamaya. Sana nga. 2 times na "inayos" ng casa, wala pa rin.

    Re wipers:
Never experienced that kasi with our personal and business vehicles. At least 2 years before kami magpalit ng wipers.
Siguro magkaiba tayo sir ng standards with regards sa wipers na "pwede pa". Kaya baka yung 6months mo ay 2 years sa amin.

Confirmed its Fully Synthetic. Had the used containers every time they changed oil. Which CASA do you bring your Toplander if I may ask?

Mine used to vibrate din yung rear view mirror. I found out that the dashcam was causing it (trying to abide by the MMDA rules), so what I did was I sticked the dashcam to the windshield right at the back of the rear view mirror, vibration gone.

Rear door issue (Hindi pantay), so I had it removed, guide the mechanics what to do (kasi pabalik balik di maayos, I did the analysis and it resolved the mis-align door).

Wipers, had mine replaced after a year and 4 months. It started havign that "squeaky" sound everytime it goes down. I just observed na kapag nakabilad yung wipers, mabilis sya magkaroon ng ganung sound (before when I used to rent a covered parking, it took about 3 years bago ako nagpalit).

After the CASA fixed my FC, it was consistent with the 8-9KM/L, but I was still not happy with it so this Dec. I took the opportunity of Speedlab's Give 5 take 5 promo with the UniChip. I had the unichip installed this 1st week of January and the performance was AWESOME! From 140WHP it added 27 resulting to 167WHP, and the old torque of 211 ft-lbs added a whooping 83 resulting in 294 ft-lbs. FC has improved greatly as well, from the 8-9KM/L, I just recently had a full tank filled (68.31 L) after traversing 767KM of City Driving; so based on computation, consumption was 11.22KM/L or 8.9L/100KM as the panel reports.

Power was evident and you can feel it instantly. So fare, this was one of those purchases that you never regret!
