    Is the Foton MPX really powered by a CRDi engine? I chanced upon one in their booths in SM. The badges at the back tell that the unit should be CRDi but a peek in the engine compartment reveals an old 4JB1.

    Nope. It's got the same engine as the Isuzu Fuego of the 90's. My friend has one. Doesn't feel anything near a CRDi.

    That's the problem. They have a CRDi badging but its engine makes a 4D56 look futuristic.
