Quality is still suspect. But the units seem to be holding up well.

Lots of minor stuff if you are nitpicking:
*Plastic lenses for headlamps, taillamps, foglamps easily discolor and get cloudy (can be fixed by professional rubbing and detailing of the lamps)
*Aircon vents become loosey-goosey in no time. Just like in those old taxi cabs
*Some say the aircon is not as cold as the competitor vehicles
*Other interior plastic trims get cracked if not handled carefully
*Rubber parts don't hold up as well (e.g. weatherstrips, mouldings, etc.)
*Suspension is stiff and can become noisy earlier than usual (again, something that is not really hard to fix)
*Better get good rust proofing. Chinese anti-corrosion measures are still not up to par with other brands.

tapos yun door handle nya sa loob eh parang masyadong manipis... parang mapuputol pag hinila ng biglaan. :-(

Kamusta fuel economy and reliability so far? This looks like a good all around work truck.

Based on the reviews, okay siya kung pang-tao lang or pang-harabas ika nga.

If its isuzu based maybe the ironman and old man emu suspension kit will work on it? Medyo pricey nga lang.

Engine-wise, ok naman ung hatak ng blizzard. Mejo kelangan lang talaga i-fine tune ung performance. wala pa ko masyado idea kung ano solution for the NVH level. Maingay nga tlaga sa cabin at ramdam ung vibrations sa steering wheel, pedals and shift knobs and matigas ung suspension. Next plan for my unit is to install sound deadeners and a good sound system para mabawasan ung noise sa loob ng cabin.

all suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

lagyan nyo ng 1 sack of rice sa bed... to soften up the ride pag walang karga. Some Fortuners do that and its effective daw..

Medyo matagal ako di naka visit... Hello ulit Guys!

So far, yung blizzard ko is doing ok...

Mga napansin ko na sa ngayon (since I've had it last May 2011):

    1. Aircon vents, madali nga siyang mag loose, kaya what I do is fix in in a position na ayos na then I just put a stopper (double adhesive) na maliit para di siya gumagalaw.
    2. Aircon, medyo di consistent: yung Aircon ng friend ko na Blizzard din, ang hina, as in nasa 4 na para maramdaman yung lamig pero yung akin, pag nasa 1, di kaya magpalamig during noontime na mainit, I need to put it sa 2 or 3 pag puno sa loob (5 passengers including me). Sa gabi naman, sobra lamig ang 2, as in nag momoist ang salamin, kaya dapat nakasagad sa warm ang temp.
    3. Noise-wise, di ko masyado na-experience kasi 1st week pa lang sa akin yung pickup nagpa-deaden agad ako ng doors and floors, I also changed the floormat's foam to a different one (dami kasing available na foams sa marikina), I think it helps eliminate the noise coming from the outside.
    4. Vibrations, I've experienced them before, yung manibela and shift stick, grabe manginig. Pero since I started using 2T on every full tank for my diesel, naminimize yung vibrations.
    5. Ride, it really is BUMPY! as in BUMPY! I'll probably try that one out. Ang worry ko lang is baka mag suffer naman nag fuel consumption kaya I need a long term solution. Meron inoofer sa akin si Carryboy, parang suspention replacement, yung front and rear shocks papalitan (gas and leaf), magiging malambot daw ang ride plus aangat siya ng about 2-3 inches, kaso medyo masakit sa bulsa - 45K. Yung mga Old Man Emu ba same price din aabutin?
    6. Fuel Consumption, so far I am still within the 12-13KM per liter. I'm already at my 18,000++ KM, been to Quezon, Tagaytay, Baguio, Batangas and Puerto Galera (Via RORO). Ayos naman.
    7. Minor nitty-gritty, yung mga plastics nga niya, some say it looks cheap. Yung iba has to be handled with care dahil madaling mag crack or maputol. Pero contrary to the one mentioned about the door handle: Manipis daw? Yup manipis siya pero di sya basta basta mapuputol dahil bakal yung handle nya, kahit anong biglang-hila ang gawin ko, solid siya kasi nga bakal unlike others that are made of hard plastic.

Looking to upgrade pa rin yung shocks and spring, para lumambot ng onti... IF anyone can direct me on what to do, very much appreciated.

Tunland available na dito?!? BUSET!!!! I WANT THAT!!!
