Question on lynx 2002

Good evening mga gurus! Just want to ask something, I owned a ford lynx ghia 2001, and my friend has a 02 RS look version na, i know that lynx are equipped with this ignition beep ( the one that counts 6x) before turning the engine, my friends 02 ghia doesnt have that. pag nilagay mo susi lahat ng ilaw for gauges andun naman,once the ABS light off, dun niya inistart, lahat din ng all power features gumagana and walang naiiwang nakailaw pag andar makina, wla ding problem or anything, taka lang ako, wala na ba talaga sa model na ganun yon o may naka disables sa unt nya? wala na kase manual yong kotse nya since second hand na purchase.yong original keyless nya gumagana pa pati susi. he never bothered to check at ford since di naman sya nagkaron problem eversince...just curious... thanks for your replies.

Ignition beep? I have a Lynx and it doesn't do that.

I dont know if the right term is ignition beep/chime, parang computer system na nagchechek na tumutunog 6x prior mo start kotse...basta sa gen.1 ghias meron po nun, since I had 2000 model before then 2001 ngayon, is your lynx 2002 na gen2? baka nga sa gen.1 lang po yun.salamat po sir.

yun sa akin na gen1 na lynx meron talaga sya chime sound pag start
pero nawawala din yun. siguro sa mga sumunod na models ng lynx
baka inalis na nila yun.

Hi everyone,

I'm new here but just wanted to share some info. I have '99 fordlynx ghia AT and it does have a beep sound before you start the engine.

My question: when i bought it, hindi ko na hinihintay na matapos yung beep sound. As soon as i inserted the key i start it right away...pero lately pinapatapos ko muna yung beep before i start it. Nakakasira kaya yon sa enging if i start it right away?

Question lang po. Ano ang main purpose ng strutbar? recommended ba mag lagay nito sa kotse? i own fordlynx 09 ghia automatic.

Worth it ba mag lagay nito or accessory lang?

Strut bars connect the strut towers of your car to stiffen your chassis from flexing. Because you essentially have a big hole in front of your car where the engine is placed there tends to be more chassis flex in that area, installing a strut bar to connect the strut towers will stiffen that area of the car.

sa akin meron i think 2000 model na lynx. better check the lights to go off before starting. its a good practice.

Sounds like a ball-joint or tie rod end problem, to me.

Bro, I have also lynx 2002 lsi same problem maingay un manibela, pero ng nag palit ako ng suspension bushing nawala na yung ingay left/right steering...

Sir niky, may kalampag yung rear portion ko. I already replaced rear stabilizer(pair) yung mga bushing wla naman problema, after kong magpalit may kalampag pa din, ano kaya problema?shocks na kaya? paano malalaman defective na yung shocks?ok pa naman kasi yung porma ng lynx ko sa back portion.

yung traditional na pagcheck ng shockse yung inuuaga taas baba yung portion ng shock na itetest. kapag matigas ibaba means may problem na yung shock.
Yung sa akin dati may lumalangitngit sa rear. yun pala yung plastic na nakabalot sa gitna ng spring. yung parang moldflex. due to old age parang lumutong na yung plastic.binawasan na lang tapos yun wala na.

I agree with jowjow....suspension bushing yan...had the same problem tapos nawala when i had suspension bushing fixed

yung traditional na pagcheck ng shockse yung inuuaga taas baba yung portion ng shock na itetest. kapag matigas ibaba means may problem na yung shock.
Yung sa akin dati may lumalangitngit sa rear. yun pala yung plastic na nakabalot sa gitna ng spring. yung parang moldflex. due to old age parang lumutong na yung plastic.binawasan na lang tapos yun wala na.

sirs nagpalit na ako ng rear shocks..ganon pa din...try ko pong icheck yung sa coil spring/moldflex.

nagpalit na ako ng rear shocks. ganon pa din. try kong icheck coil spring/moldflex kung magbabago/mawawala yung kalampag.

guys, ask lng po. i have a ford lynx 2002 and was wondering if its okay to use mobil synthetic gear oil 75w90 gl-5 for my transmission? or anyone who can post a link to a service manual for ford lynx 2002? thanks.
