yung engine ng ranger yun din engine nyan. it's only 2.5L but because of turbo charging, it's the most powerful engine in its class. it can run the vehicles up to 160+kph and it won't let you down when you need real power in a size of compact SUV.

I guess medyo underpowered, but spec-wise, still better than my tonka Pajero. Styling looks a bit ungainly, but not totally ugly.... it so conservative-looking.

From the specsheet I saw on display sa Robinson's Ermita, the Everest is supposed to have a 130hp 3-liter engine.

Baka naman mis-print lang.

Isn't the ford everest 4x4 with lether seats.

Alam ko 2.5L Intercooled turbo engine good for around 110hp.... then again i saw a lot of cars the past few weeks

it looks better in reality than in photos... (still no dynamite compared to a better-integrated design like the crosswind though)

but comparing it to the Crosswind .... u get intercooler turbo with a nice suspension.... also konti lang i dadagdag mo eh SUV kana!

The Everest is a pickup-derived SUV, just like the Montero Sport which is based on an L200 Strada pickup.
Its funny many people like to call it an AUV(mostly non-Ford owners), considering that its one of the last few affordable rugged SUVs left in the RP market.

I guess we should just wait for the next gen Everest SUV(to be based on the new '07 Ranger)... that should change people's minds.
