help nmn po!
help naman guys, kasi ung 1st gen. kong eve ay 8-9secs. ang 0-100 kp/h, normal lang po ba un?
replies are highly appreciated..
imho, tingin ko, average yun.
unless may nararamdaman kang pugak, o hesitation during acceleration, medyo ibang usapan yun.
^^+1 to that, i used to own a gen1 everest with the 2.5wlt engine and it sure is as slow as molasses. i have the a/t version though so that might explain the lethargic acceleration. in fact the only thing slower than my old rig is the a/t crosswind xuv hehehe. i wonder how the threadstarter manages 8-10 sec, even though its a manual i think its impossible unless heavily modded.
Either your speedometer (or stopwatch) is broken or you have a V8 under the hood.
The only way an Everest can hit 100 km/h in 8 seconds is with 300 horsepower. No way do you have that on a 2.5 liter diesel without direct injection.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
Looks like the TS still wants more.. mabilis nga ang 8sec - 100km/h in an SUV.
But he said its not stock... maybe he want to share what modification he did to hit that time...
*TS take your shot tell us what you did to your Everest![]()
maybe nag STOCK-up ang timer na ginamit.
:bwahaha:
my 4jx1 with 160hp in it (that what the manual says) with a K&N racing filter take takes about 11 seconds (mabigat pa ako kay niky) to go beyond 100 kph.
245mm lang ang width ng tire nun so less rolling resistance pa to than 265mm of everest.![]()
guys
speedbreaker ang name ni TS so baka he's into speedbreaking nor acceleration breaking.:bwahaha:
1st gen eve? ito ba yung non crdi namalakas sa diesel?![]()
dali lang yan. punta ka sa baguio, tutok mo rig mo pababa sa marcos hiway.
AT or MT? An Everest with the 160 hp TDCi takes about that long... 11-12 seconds, give or take (The ranger can do it in 11 flat with a good launch).
It goes like this:
2000 kg SUVs:
Everest 2.5: 14.5 seconds - 140 hp
Fortuner 3.0: 13 seconds - 160 hp (AT, 4x4... if it were 4x2, then 11)
Hyundai Veracruz: 9.4 seconds - 240 hp (AT 4x4)
11-12 seconds, I can believe, with the boost raised on the turbo, the fueling adjusted to match, and alcohol injection bringing the power to 140-150 hp or thereabouts, but 10 seconds and below takes a hell of a lot of power... more than just simple mods can make... safely.![]()
