yup maporma nga siya. pero masakit sa bulsa kapag magpapa-gas na. nakabili kami niyan October last year, yung 2001 Lariat 4X4, binenta din namin last March 2009. binenta namin ng palugi, kasi nga di na namin kaya yung fuel consumption. palagi na lang din nakaparada sa garahe kasi walang gustong gumamit.
mas okay pa yata yung Ford Explorer Sport Trac, IMO.

It sells quite cheap on the used market.
But just because the acquisition cost is low, it does not mean the ownership cost is also low.
Prepare to spend more for its fuel, parts, and maintenance bits than what the "local" pickups sold in the country.
On the other side of the equation, it is huge and has premium space. Evokes a "big time" image thus street creed. Walang papalag sa yo sa daan.

If I were you, i wont buy the f150. First, anlaki niya! ang hirap hirap ipark. 2nd, FC. Damn, you'll really need lots and lots of money.... 3rd, parts niya, maintenance pa.
Kung marami kang pera, then go get it.

simply put, if you like the save now pay later deals, then go buy a used f150. mura nga acquisition cost dahil rock bottom ang resale price niya. around 300k-400k or so lang sa 1999-2001 models. it has a cheap entry fee pero once you own it, iba na ang usapan. gas bills mo palang yari ka na, not to mention higher spare parts cost dahil sigurado pasira na mga pyesa nyan because of the vehicle's age (8 years old and above). Dumaan din ako dyan before although 2002 expedition naman yung sakin, pinapogi ko pa lalu with oversized bling bling rims, performance parts, the works. kaso hindi practical ang size nya sa roads natin, more so with the f150 which is about a fourth longer pa. the 2 years it stayed with me ang mileage ko around 6k lang siguro sa sobrang hindi nagagamit. kaya binenta ko nalang.
nandun na tayo na maporma at maangas nga ang f150, pero you can buy a good crdi diesel pickup and not pay for repairs afterwards. good choices would be the toyota hilux or nissan navarra, get one in black and lagyan mo ng bling blings, astig narin yun.wala ka pang sakit ng ulo.
3M Color Stable series are all above 50% TSER. RFID readable through the tint, stays good for...
