I'm quite satisfied with it naman and matipid sa gas.
Civic or Focus?Originally Posted by revoGSX

I'm satisfied with my Lynx, too... not selling it... and I'll be able to (hopefully) get another one secondhand down the road.![]()
nope... the first was the RS Centennial Edition color Black - 100th year of Ford.Originally Posted by RedHotBlood

the Lynx existed in our market for 6 years. It was launched in 1999 (I could still remember the advertisment in Mega Mall at that time). The first Lynx resembled the Ford Falcon. Syempre ganda nun. Tapos, after a year an a half, nag facelift, yung chromy grills and updated tail lights. Then after that pinalitan ulit yung grill pero the same rear design. The 2004, they launched the RS.

the lynx is a 3G mazda 323 after all (and the mazda3 is the 4G mazda 323..)
nagkalat naman ang parts ng 2G na 323 sa banawe, halos kasing-mura ng corolla big body. and the same places carry lynx parts. the lynx shares a LOT of chassis and mechanical components with the 2G 323 (1996-up). the engines are mostly identical except the lynx is distributorless.
remember that the 2G/3G 323 uses a B6/Z6 engine, whilst the mazda3 uses a Z6-MZR. so even mechanically, maraming similarities ang 323 (2G, and 3G == lynx) with the mazda3.

Did you know na sa Taiwan eh may isa pang varinat ang Lnyx called Activa series?
Makes sense for the Focus to replace the Lynx as they need a low-end model just becuase it is Ford. The current Focus cannot fight its battle in the segment, as I am sure the booking list can tell. A 1.6 and possibly 1.3 model will be needed to get the volume since even in the 1.3/1.5 class now, is pretty crowded in available choices in the market by other more reputable brands.
They had better make it quick before the "Big Guns" roll out new, low-end cars to swipe off a lot of perspective buyers. Potential gasoline price crisis will certainly drive demand for 1.3 models as aging 1.6 car segment will be driven to get almost same power but lower consumption cars for a decent price. Lets see what Ford has up their sleeves...here is an opportunity for them for the taking.
meron na rin white and sort of mint green (saw 1 sa edsa) na Lynx RS.
