I agree with you bro. very expensive and PMS sa Ford. Yung escape ko is due for 10K/3mos last November. nag paquote ako aabot ng 9k. susme! I follow the every 5K mileage.
Many thanks!

February 7th, 2013 11:58 AM #14WOW! I understand na the more mileage ang otto eh mas nagmamahal nga ang PMS. but hindi naman siguro 70K.. Ung Fortuner nga eh na 100K+ na ang regular check-up as in all in na un including detailings.. 20K+ plus ang PMS.. grabe talaga maningil ng PMS ang Casa ng Ford... and yet may mga casa na trainees lang ang mechanics nila at pinagpapraktisahan ang mga otto natin..

February 9th, 2013 10:47 AM #15Hi.,
I owned a Mazda BT-50. Bought from Mazda GH.
My first choice was FORD Ranger 3.2L.
Unfortunately, wala pa din up to now.
Naka 2nd PMS na ako recently w/c is 6 months. Free pa sya.
10,000 or 6 months w/c ever comes first.
But their dealer booklet was every 5000 km, Mazda Owners manual was every 10,000 km
To clarify it, I called and they informed me know the dealer booklet was old one, they follow the factory PMS.
Just for thought, I'm beginning to think it's true Japanese brand are cheaper to maintain, except for Suzuki.
Ford have a cheaper price tag for the ranger, but going to make a kill in maintenance and warranty.
Same engine and platform lang sila ni Mazda.
Downside is the Ranger got more aftermarket accessories than the BT-50.

i guess the reason sa casa pa din is yung warranty scare tactics ng ford. well, not just ford but also other dealerships.
