ford PI making mazdas?

i chanced by two car trailers loaded with mazda tributes and cleverly camouflaged mazda 323s going south (possibly to the pier).

could it be possible then, that ford has been making tributes and 323 proteges in their sta. rosa plant and exporting them to other asian countries (maybe even farther)?

probably. i heard that Ford PI makes cars for the entire East and Southeast Asia region.

we export the lynx to other countries sa ASEAN region... or was that the ranger?

i know that we export the lynx because of the asian free trade agreement.
don't know if it includes the ranger though ... but hey ... mazdas? it would be nice if we could get some inside info ... 8)

i think ford bought mazda of japan eh... kaya same platform ang gen1 lynx sa mazda 323 (yung may mazdaspeed na body)...and i think same platform din sa gen2? correct me if i'm wrong nalang :roll:

Ford Philippines export the Lynx, Escape, Tribute and 323s to some SEA countries... but we import the Rangers from Thailand....

i hope they bring in the Mazda 6 and the RX-8! this'll kick ass immediately considering the bland offerings that we are getting from the other car manufacturers.
