If you are talking about comfort, the small 86 is really more of a 2 seater not unless you plan to put children at the +2 seats.
I haven't sat in the rear seats of an S197 Mustang (2005 to present), but based on the pics and some reviews, don't expect much rear legroom space (specially if there is a tall front passenger), it is still a chopped down coupe with its platform derived from the longer wheelbase Lincoln LS and Jaguar S-Type sedan.
