Yup, Mazda ang ang Lynx. Yun nga ang gusto ko dun. Ayoko ng mga USDM na Fords. hehe. Maganda yung may halong Japanese blood.

The Lynx is a good buy for 2nd hands since the price is pretty much affordable (i.e. 2K & 2K1 model for way less then 400K).

My friend was looking for a used 2K model car and we narrowed the choices down to two. Exalta STA and Lynx Ghia... When i test drove the Lynx, the performance, sound, and feel was very much like our departed Mazda Familia. It was livelier then the Exalta in performance but the Exalta felt more solid and refined IMO.

yup .. and the current platform from the 3rd generation protege (where the lynx gets it's innards) is at the end of it's cycle. so, kung up to date ang ford with their models, we will probably get one more facelift and it's a whole new ballgame! :beard:

mga naunang lynx (up to 2002) medyo calampagin eh.....ewan ko lang sa mga bagong models. Check mo forum ng ford club marami din comments don.

so far, 2 lynx CE lang ang nakita ko on the road... limited number of models lang ata kasi ito eh. meron din sigurong bumili sa provincial areas.

CE is limited to 100 units only but the RS version (difference is only is seat) will be unlimited and available in other colors.

la daw bumibili mashado ng lynx ce sabi ng friend ko from ford. this explains why you hardly see any on the road.

ride ko 1.6l lynx ghia din; m/t nga lang 2004 model; mileage based on break-in ride (60
~80pkh) about 9.3 km/l; me moonroof sya so if you're on a paved highway you can open it, switch-off your a/c and probably gain a couple of liters more on gas consumption; handling very ok & body roll is hardly felt; outside engine noises wala naman akong napansin noticeable inside; features ?! abs, ebd, double airbags, smooth leather seats, back sensors, sticker type antenna slapped at rear glass, keyless entry w/ alarm, 6-cd changer HU, hi tech front & rear lamps for only P732,000!! as a stock unit i got what i wanted; be realistic friends; unless you'll allow yourself being robbed no less than a hundredk bucks mapantayan mo lang ang features from other japs brands; at saka logo nya F-O-R-D.. FORD! for me no regrets..
