I drive the ghia model almost daily from Cabuyao, Laguna to Pasig. My average gas consumption is 10km/liter. Normal maintenance parts sa suking shops lang. Most likely kung major parts sa banawe na. No headache naman and very good engine. Kaya pa 120 to 130 sa slex. Noise insulation not good. Ghia model sulit . Get a good second hand.

November 5th, 2010 09:46 AM #5mga sir and ford gurus, may i add im new here in this thread my father bought a 2nd hand ford lynx ghia 2003 model, may napansin kaming kalampag sa likod, then pina check namin sa cruven angeles shock absober daw stuck up then hindi din nila pwede gamitan nun bagong tehcnology nila kasi stuck up, tanong ko lang kung magkanon average cost ng rear and front shock,(fluid and gas respectively). Report ko na din pala itong experienced ko sa cruven angeles, nag papalit kasi ako ng mga bushing, all along kala ko gagamitan ng bagong technology nila, ang ginawa nila bumili lang sila ng mga pyesa sa labas then kinabit sa kotse ko, tapos may kinabit pa sila na big bushing na fabricated na hindi maganda pagka slice ng rubber, so nag mark up sila sa pyesa and labor, then un labor wala pa warranty dont know kung standard un sa cruven un, tapos wala pa sila mga pneumatic tools, pinag pukpok ng maso un pang ilalim ko naawa nga ko sa kotse and buti na lang hindi nawala un alignment ng camber, toe and caster, lakas kasi nila bumayo ng maso, hope this will help for anyone na mag papagawa sa cruven angeles. actually pag punta ko dun isa lang nag papagawa na kasama ko, back job pa. Hope this will help anyone to survey first or read shops review before mag pagawa. good day to all!!!

November 10th, 2010 01:52 AM #6hi, agree. i used to own a 2001 ford lynx a/t ghia. and i missed it. mas magaan sya dalhin kaysa sa lancer mx ng hipag ko although mas mataas na mileage ni fordlynx(tawag namin sa lynx namin). kahit wife ko ramdam din nya ang difference after driving 'mossi' (tawag namin sa lancer mx kasi moss green ang color). fuel consumption is comparable to the lancer mx a/t maybe even better depends on driving habits.
common complaint ay yung camshaft sensor. nagpalit ako ng part bought in mazford banawe. stick to specified sparkplugs. nag try ako ng platinum tip, pangit ang response.
