Can someone give me the real story of the Ford Lynx?
Is it really a rebadged Mazda 323? Or is it a new car designed by GHIA for the Asian market with a Mazda engine? Is the chassis a Mazda?
Is it considered a Japanese car - Mazda engine?
Is it considered a European car - designed by GHIA (European ang GHIA diba?)?
Is it considered an American car - carries the Ford badge?
Do you think Ford will still continue to carry this model, now that Mazda is back? Will Mazda bring back its 323?
How is the reliability and performance of this car compared to the likes of the Civic and Corolla?
Can you say that "napag-iwanan" na yung Mazda engine with the dawn of VTEC and VVTI?

the LYNX is only being sold in the Asian market and is assembled in Taiwan, Philippines and Malaysia. The Philippines plant is also exporting to Thailand and Indonesia. Singapore gets their imports from neighbor Malaysia.
It is badged as Ford Laser Tierra in Taiwan, Thailand and Indonesia. It is badged as Ford Lynx in the Philippines and Malaysia.
ford lynx is a car for those tired with rehashed & monotonous japanese models seen in almost every corners of the metropolis..
it's reliable, cost less upfront, and loaded with more value-added features. every model the japanese competitors introduced lately turned-off some people dahil napakamahal thinking perhaps this country ia awashed with a bunch of "takaw tingin" buyers.. grrr!
