The owner, accompanied by the mechanic , actually brought the car to the casa but according to those in charge that parts are not readily available and it may take sometime to arrive from the source. That is when the owner asked the mechanic to proceed fixing it since he needs the car for his endeavors. warranty wise, surely void na once touched by mechanic other than those from ford

bottom line here is.. He admit na nilusong nya sa baha and he decided to fix the car sa mechanic & leave the car sa casa... of which void na ang warranty.

OT: ok lang mag pa lower ng car nasa atin naman nyo kung gusto natin e lusong sa baha...

napansin ko lang, yung tungkol sa breather. actually, sa Civic VTi, nakatutok sa ilalim ng filter box ang breather ang breather. meaning sa labas na nang engine bay kumukuha nang intake.

anyways, as for the owner of the said focus, he is not telling more than he should. siguro sa pagka-dismaya, dahil di magamit ang oto nya at alam nyang makikita sa casa na nilusong nga sa baha...

It really feels good to have a brand new car with comperehensive insurance.

No kalampag, cold aircon, fast, quiet, nice stereo, clean interior, shiny paint, new tires. Feeling mo walang kwenta ang baha.... Until now...

That floods are not included in the comprehensive insurance.

I know that Ford lends out service vehicles if in case they can't fix it on time. I guess this is just poor decision on the owner, running his brand new car through floods I mean. Because everything followed after that.

just a conjecture... is the owner a newbie? wala lang. i remember the time (80's pa ito) that a friend's father told his daughter on a saturday morning to top up the water in their car's radiator. the young girl complied -- she filled up the car's engine with water thru the engine valve's cover opening instead! reason? mas mukhang cap daw yung oil filler cap kesa dun sa radiator cap! herherherhhh!

Most modern cars can take six inches with no problem... if the guy actually meant 16 inches... Fords are okay for about 12 inches or more. But it's not advisable anyway.

That's a big possibility on the Focus, as it has a sealed coolant system...

napasin ko lang....everyone seems to forget that the rally car focuS used in WRC are NOTHING BUT STOCK....perhaps the only thing stock duon ay ang body and engine block....pero and engine internals and external parts of the car are greatly modified na (to produce 300hp from a 2 litter engine)...tranny, differential, suspension ... name it they are almost not the STOCK ng isang off-the-shelf FOCUS.

so never assume that if you have a FOCUS....it can do rallying na........ sa commercial lang po iyon tutuo.

well... actually it can (or any FWD for that matter).

FWDs will tackle light dirt & gravel nicely. actually, we have a local rallying series wherein 1.6L FWD compact cars are being used.

AWD is only really useful when you already have a 300hp and tackles snow & heavy dirt conditions.

im new to the site +ford.. just want some advice.bumile kase ako dito samen ng ford focus 5door hatchb. 1.6 ti-vct motor 115 ps duratec.i cant afford to pay more horsepower kase sa inssurance dito.anyway i planning to slightly dressup my car pag nakuha ko sya sa nov.just planning to drop it 30mm with eibach,may be an cold air intake.

gusto ko lang malaman kung meron na ba sa phils, ng simple sideskirt+lip para sa focus i just want the car look simple and clean..

if ever can some1 tell me wer to get it tnx..

the owner is too impatient. first nilusong nya sa baha, second di niya inantay ang CASA magawa. haste makes waste. sayang Ford Focus. ako kahit mataas ang ride ko, i'd rather sleep inside the car than be adventurous.
