just want to share with you what i saw at my mechanic's shop yesterday. I took some pictures of it but i just don't know how to upload in this forum.
Here it is: it 's a 2006 Ford Focus just delivered to the owner last May 2006. So this car must only be less than 2 months old on the road. According to the owner, never nya nilusong sa baha ang car and to his surprise, ayaw na umandar car nya. He brought the car to the casa, pero wala daw parts to fix it considering that it's under warranty. Since gusto nya magawa aga yung car, he brought it to his trusted mechanic (heppens to be also my mechanic).
Upon checking it,after opening the valve cover, discovered that natubigan ang engine nya. naghalo ang langis at tubig. Upon careful study, nakita ng mechanic that the breather is located underneath the engine. So tendency is humigop ito ng tubig ( granting na nilusong sa baha). Wala naman daw ibang source kundi dun lang. Wow, ayoko na sa Ford. By the way, the mechanic quoted people from ford na yun daw talaga ang sakit ng Focus.
Dapat i-recall ang Focus.
One more thing, i also noticed that the power steering fluid tank is located underneath the right fender. For you to have access to refill it, you still have to remove the fender liner. Saka, tatlo lang ang engine mounting support.
