Mazda 3 of course! Still more inexpensive!

It looks as if the Focus HB does NOT come equipped with leather seats as in the sedan. It is really becoming quite apparent that its HIGH price is unjustifiable.

from the pic the seats are covered with a sort of leather combination? can make it out because of the dark colour

Based on specs alone, in a pure straight line race, the Focus will win based on its 123hp engine rating compared to Mazda 3's 104hp. But since the Focus is quite portly (meaning it has put on some weight) due to the numerous addes features it has, the Mazda 3 could turn out to be a darkhorse.

The Focus, like the 3, needs a manual transmission, a stickshift, and a gearbox you can control by yourself, then shave the price.

Hmm pupunta rin pala kayo sa testdrive dyan bukas sa Global City.Im really disappointed sa 2.0 Sport na Focus 5 door hatch.Sana mas ok ang rims nya sana(17 inch similar sa export versions would be better) mas mura ang price.Its true parang failure ang Focus 1.8 sedan,halos tatlo pa yata ang nakikita ko sa roads eh(di pa kasama dun yung for export na parati kong nakikita sa pier).Medyo exagerrated talaga yung ads nila sa dyaryo.

well, for me, mukang ok siya, medyo type ko either of the model...kung ganun ngang parang overpriced nga, i'll just wait for someone will absorb its 1st depreciation and if that person sell it, i think i'll buy 1..

in short, baka bumili ako ng focus hatch sa taong bumibili lang ng kotse na parang bumibili ng damit..(pag ayaw na, palit na)

madami paring tao sa pilipinas na di na malaman kung saan pa pagagamitan ng pera nila....

A manual transmission will probably shave off Php 40-50K off the price. Imo, the convenience of an automatic far outweighs the small difference/savings in price.
