October 27th, 2010 03:25 PM #12i think what your talking about is the real time fuel consumption computer that is available in the sport variant....trip meters are for distance travelled that can be reset to zero...even an 1995 pick up has this one...pero sa fiesta trend and below variants wala...another disappointment...hehe

walang trip meter?
I'd put a small notebook....subtract.....new tech
anyway, it's a small drawback in Fiesta enjoyment.
as note:
tested in Thai was a Sedan:
Ford Fiesta 1.4L Trend Sedan
City: 8.1L/100km = 12.34km/L
Highway: 5.9L/100km = 16.9km/L
Mas malaki ang body nito.
The Hatch 1.4 Mt should have better figures!

The ford fiesta with Econetic diesel has 3.7L/100km. So the 4.5L/100Km under controlled conditions is not impossible I think.
""Econetic diesel (3.7L/100km), it easily undercuts the model’s most direct real-world rivals"

Regarding the Fiesta tripmeter
From the overseas forum….
“depress the reset button for 5-6 seconds while the engine is switched on. Trip meter display (?) then appears in place of the odometer display.”Last edited by ghosthunter; October 27th, 2010 at 05:09 PM.
IIRC they're with AVID. The reported numbers in the TG article are from CAMPI.
