The 4x2 should definitely drink less gas... but not much less in traffic.
And Khaos? Look up the Khaos thread... this device is harmful to MAF sensors, throttle actuators and such (not to mention the fact that lean running makes an engine run pretty hot)... now, after reading that thread, look up the price of replacement sensors for the V8 at the Ford casa...

March 29th, 2006 05:55 PM #77i can get 6 km/L in an expedition XLT 4x2 with a 4.2L V8 engine. thats light traffic and economical driving. In principal the F150 (not the lariat) V8 model should get around this fuel economy or better. but it will all depend on how you drive and your driving conditions. The V6 model should be only be slightly better than the V8.

March 29th, 2006 07:42 PM #78ah ok thanks. so a v8 engine na f150 would have a greater gas consumption compared with a v6, so do you think i can get a 7 km/l for a v6 engine?

The six cylinder in the Explorer isn't known for frugality, either, but it's not Expe bad. I'll check with my cousin to see what he gets...
