since there has never been a recall as regards the LSD,
the problem apllies only to some vehicles and not to every expdtn that rolls out of the factory

rebel dude medyo nalito ako dun. di ako xpert sa mga mechanicals ng kotse. pero bakit sa harap magkakaproblem (wheel slippage).? diba lsd sa rear lang? and wala naman axle sa harap(4x2)? kaya walang kahit anong system na gumagana sa front wheel? wala rin tayo traction control.

109 tama ka not on all vehicles ang issue but on most of the owners that had post in the other forum does encounter this problem. I guess swertehan lang yan hehehehehe.

Promdiboy you are correct there is not axle in front for the 4x2 however the problem is cause by the LSD on the rear wheel.

The LSD prevents Slip on both wheels at the back to do this both wheels will have to rotate more or less at the same time and if one wheel gets left behind the Limited Slip which works like a clucth will prevent the one that gets behind to rotate at the same cycle as to the opposite. (nahihilo na ako heheheh)

The job of the LSD is suppose to slack or loosen up during cornering thus allowing one wheel to rotate less cycle than the other during slow cornering but during fast cycles the LSD should maintain both wheels revolving at the same time. but with the LSD that has problems in the US is the LSD doesn't loosen up during slow cornering which when turning the vehicle at a slow cycle pushes the whole truck forward instead of following the tracks which the front wheels are taking.

With this the tires are skipping the concrete or looses traction and makes an effect on the steering wheel as if something is wrong with the front suspension but the real culprint is the LSD behind the truck.

I hope i'm making any sense hehehehehe.

Remember you can only notice this during slow corners like from a stop light dead stop turning right or left.

I've been monitoring the other forum and it seems the expe owners didn't have as much complaints as before when they got the first batch of expe's.

The new brakepads are already out in the US and the feedback was a huge improvement in terms of brakedust is concerne.

NAGPAKABIT ako ng sidemirror with SIGNAL LYT , 21T ang halaga, kaso ang anak ng teteng na nagkakabit di kagad sinabi na walang wire harness na nakaabang (sa XLT model) para dun kaya di rin gumana ang signal lights, check pa raw nila sa planta kung pano gagawin ................ di ko rin muna binayaran HEHE, di ko na pinatanggal ung signal light, sabi ko babalik na lang ako pag alam na nila ang gagawin.

Nice move 109 sana lahat na XLT pwedeng kabitan nila ng signal light tapos TY na lang kasi walang wiring harnesss hehheheheh.

Pero nakakatawa naman yun dealer mo nagbebenta ng signal light pero wala naman wiring harness.............ano ba yan!!!!!

Sabagay hindi ko sila masisi kasi Revo lang gamit nila noong pumunta sila doon.

umiilaw pa rin pag in-unlock yung doors, talaga lang kulang yung wires para sa signal lights............natawa na lang ako nung naikabit sige testingin natin sabi ko, tumawa din SA, 'sir, hindi iilaw yan kasi.....' Maporma kaya lang walang silbi.

sabi sa kin sa casa iwanan ko daw yung unit ko sa umaga balikan na lang daw sa hapon, okay lang ba na di ko na bantayan yung unit ko, safe kaya na wala silang gagalawin dun, if u know what i mean?
yung isang friend ko kasi iniwan niya yung car niya sa isang dealer for I,oookm checkup/change oil,etc. ( i won't mention kung saang casa, but not ford )
after makuha niya napansin niya mukang me napalitan sa ibang parts ng sasakyan niya.

109 kung ako sayo wag mo iwan.hirap na panahon ngayon.
ikaw ba naglilinis ng xpd mo? weird nung mga grooves sa bubong paloob kaya naiipon yung tubig. sa ibang kotse palabas naman. recomend ko pala sayo cali waterblade. swabe sa xpd.

parang squeegie sa salamin pero pang kotse siya. pampatuyo siya. laking tulong sa tagalinis mo. hirap kasi linisan xpd masyado malaki. ilan pala ang consumption mo based sa message center? ??Liters/100kms ?

ngayon ko lang nacheck message center 32li/100km nakalagay, totoo ba yun? meaning more than 3km lang per liter ang konsumo?

Unless kakilala mo talaga yun SA. bakit pinaiiwan sa iyo buong araw? para ba ito doon sa signal light?

Baka naman may papalitan sila as part of their secret recall if any.

Malamang tama yan consumption sa expe hehehheeheh pag may expe ka d dapat iniintindi yun gas kasi pag makwenta ka sa gas hindi mo na yan gagamitin dahil sobra TAKAW talaga yan sa GAS

oo para sa signal light, me nakapila daw for service kuno, hirap magtiwala kht kilala mo yung SA.

me rattle sa driver side pag nadaan sa lubak o rough road, sakit na yata ng expe yun, ganun din yung 2000expe ko makasampu ko na dinala sa casa wala ring nagawa hanggang sa naibenta ko hindi nawala yung rattle, bukod dun sa little rattle i love every square inch or cubic inch of my new expdtn.

109 masyado mataas last timei checked nasa 16.7l/100kms. nung pagcompute ko nasa 5.5 km/liter pero puro hiway lang yan. and baguio traffic. sobra laki ata ng consumption mo. nung bagong dating sa amin nasa 23L/100kms. ginagamit mo ba araw araw yan sa manila?

cali water blade di siya kanebo. squeegie talaga siya pang kotse. daan mo lang sa body tanggal na yung tubig. sa ibang kotse di magandda gamitin pero sa xpd ang bilis. flat kasi yung body panels.

bihira ko lang gamitin expdtn, twice a week. i'll check it again the next time na gamitin ko.

me nakausap ako expdtn owner din, june 2003 niya nakuha para daw me kumukurugkog pag lumiliko, yun kaya LSD axle problem?
warranty-period pa yun, papalitan ba ng kasa buong differential?

109 malamang yan yun problem ng LSD. tell your friend to have it check na habang maaga. wag siya papayag pag sinabi sa kanya normal lang yun ganun.

I'll try to look for the TSB number bukas if I have time.

Pero I know wala pa talagang fix yan problem sa LSD.

Yun rattle sa front door driver side nabasa ko na rin yan can't remember the fix pero pagkaalala ko may hihigpitan lang daw eh.
