Domestics ang tawag sa mga U.S. made cars. Siyempre kasi domestic sila sa U.S. Yun ang general term for Ford, GM, and Chrysler products (aka the Big Three).

Ewan ko kung bakit hindi nila maresolve ang quality issues nila.

Although one of the reasons cited was the unhappiness of their work force. Some workers even drop loose bolts in body cavities (para magrattle) as well as other misdemeanors like not connecting wires or misconnecting them and stuff.

anyway those problems apply to only some of the vehicles produced and most of them are so minor that you can live with them.

109 so far wala parin problem expedition, dinala na namin sa baguio several times. pag long distance travel the best na siguro ito. dami kasi namin.

ilan pala ang consumption mo sa gas based sa message center? 17.6L/100 kms yung sa amin. mga 5.68 km/l tama ba conversion ko? anong month mo nakuha sayo?

promdiboy, last month ko lang nakuha.white color. sa yo anong kulay? i havn't given attention yet on the consumption.
ive been to baguio last xmas dec20-dec25 and happened to see new expy's at the Manor. Nakapark nga yung isang expy beside a new prado, na-dwarf yung prado hehe.

Good to know wala kayo na experience na problem sa LimitedSlip nyo kasi yan yun pinaka complain nila doon and madami nagpalit ng buong differential because of that.

The problem is only noticable after 3k to 6K miles and during slow cornering kasi hindi yata nag re-release yun limitedSlip.

Another issue is the brakedust which is very noticable dito sa atin pareho sa US. pero according doon sa site may mga bagong pads na ang ford to minimize the brakedust.

Other than that minor problems na lang ang nababasa ko at mukhang isolated.

Ang swerte nyo may mga Expe na kayo ako wala pa din at naiinip na ako huhuhu.

wala naman atang pinagkaiba ang 2003 na expedition sa 2000. yun nga lang may TV sa backseat.

109 nasa manor din kami pero 25-28 kami doon. red yung color. naghabol din kasi kami ng price. mga 6 months waiting namin. ano nga ba difference ng 2004 expedition sa 2003? 2004 model na yung sayo diba? napansin mo ba yung continental tires may mga bukol na maliliit? pinakita saamin sa casa ganun din yung mga iba.

pa leather seat cover ba? or leather seats talaga? wag na spend it on DVD entertainment system nalang nasa ford website 65 th daw. madumihin nga yung beige interior pero very comfy mga seats kahit sa 3rd row. very low flooring.

Otep, you're right, and SUVs are not designed for cornering at high speeds because of high center of gravity.

Promdiboy, me napansin nga akong red expy when we checked out on the 25th, ikaw nga cguro yun pero parang 24 pa lang nkita ko na yung red. 2003 din sa kin pero 2004 ko pinagawa yung receipt and registration. OK naman yung tires ko, walang imperfections. White exterior ko kaya gray ang interior.

Nag pa order kasi ako ng Eddie Bauer na 5.4L with Eddie Bauer Premium package (para maging monotone), Climate Controlled Seats at Rear DVD.

Kaya have to be special order kasi hindi masyado uso yun Climate Controlled Seats doon at palagay ko naman usefull yan dito sa atin pag naka leather seats kasi may air-conditioning yun leather seats with this option.

Buti na lang hindi na standard and Limited Slip sa 2004 models.

Tsaka yun karamihan kasi ng 5.4L doon naka Tow Package which is hindi ko kailangan sayang lang pera kaya yun nauwi ako sa special order.

By the way I ordered a BLACK one.

Makikita mo ito sa 3rd season ng 24 if your familiar with 24 that is and naka Eddie Bauer Premium Package siya.

2. sa USA hindi na standard and LimitedSlip due to all the problems.
3. Yun back-up sensors ng 2003 uses 2 sonar and 2 radar but on the 2004 it uses 4 radars instead due to cost cutting.
4. sa USA yun 2003 may model sila na FX4 na naging NBX for 2004
5. sa USA yun 2004 comes with Tire-Pressure Monitoring (ito yun pinalit nila sa LimitedSlip)
6. sa USA yun 2004 ng XLT may naka kabit sa ilalim ng bumper instead na butas pero hindi ito tulad ng grill na binebenta nila dito.
7. yun Hub cap ng 2004 XLT sa USA hindi na color black kung hindi color aluminum na rin.
8. sa USA yun 2004 na XLT comes with Medium Flint Grey Two-tone Cloth as standard compare to the Flint Grey on 2003

I think all of this new changes for 2004 will reflect on the next batch of XLT that ford would import from the USA Michigan Truck Plant.

Yun continetals is subject of numerous complaints and solution is to change them to another brand and most of them opted for the Michellen because of quality defects from the continetal tires.

Many of them complaint of vibrations during certain speeds and even after re-alignment and re-balancing it was not fix and found out that the solution is only by changing the tires to a different brand.

So I suggest for those who have continentals that are still brand-new have them swap at banawe and spend a little additional to get a better set of tires.

Believe me it's well worth it.

If you want to know how much ford will charge for the locally installed DVD go to www.ford.com.ph

The original DVD from ford in the USA looks better as this is factory installed but the one's being sold locally by audiovox is also not bad the only big difference is the audiovox has a built-in TV tuner unlike the USA factory installed is only for DVD.

I think I made a big mistake ordering the USA factory DVD as this may not play the pirated DVD's but definetly no TV tuner. I think the only plus I got is it won't mess up the color of my interior.

I'm not sure if the audiovox DVD can play pirated DVD

I think in general the LimitedSlip is very useful in terms of safety but with the LimitedSlip on the new Expedition Ford made a lousy job thus creating a big mechanical problem for the owners.

Dito sa atin baka hindi pa masyado lumalabas yun sakit kasi karamihan bago pa expe nila.

Remember that this is very noticable during slow cornering once the problem is there. (sobra pa naman dami ng slow cornering dito sa atin).

mag 3K to 6K miles bago mo ito mapapansin hindi ko alam conversion niyan into KM.

just watchout for it incase lumabas yan problem bring it to your dealers agad for warranty.

Tandaan nyo pag kakamalan nyo na ang problem ay sa front suspension or tires but in fact it's the rear LimitedSlip that is causing the problem kasi the LimitedSlip will frooze up and will push the truck foward parang tumatalon yun gulong sa pavement in front.
