yung stock continentals ko may bukol kahit nung bago palang. kinomplain ko sa casa they said normal daw yun. pinakiita pa niya yung mga display units nameron ding bukol. di ko narin kinulit kasi iwas na makipagtalo.

Tama si otep bat d mo subukan mini van kesa exped.

masarap lang sumakay sa exped pag short distance lang pero pag byahe mo ng malayo, nakupoo ang sakit sa katawan masyadong matagtag , matigas kasi suspension.

lalo n pag nasa high way ka o pag dating sa kurbada kailangan medyo listo ka kung hindi baka kung saan ka pulutin, sabagay d ka naman pwedeng mag over speed baka matikitan ka.

ok yan sa city driving medyo malaki lang hirap sumingit.

pero dun p din ako sa mini van , mura na tipid k p sa gas

subukan mo (starex, inova,kia carnival) sigurado ko mag eenjoy ka sa rides mo.

d naman ako galit sa expedition, in fact gusto ko porma nyan kesa navigator o suburban.

Meron kasi bayaw ko nyan ako driver nya pag may long drive sya for two years lagi ko gamit yan kaya medyo kabisado ko exped , till bumili sya ng toyota sienna (wla pa yata nyan sa pinas)

kuya yun gamit ko ang napalitan yun dalawa bihira lang gamit kaya bago pa hehehehe.

Ok naman vitara pero mas matipid sa gas expe ko believe it or not. kasi vitara is city driving lang expe is highway hahahaha

To 109, rebel, promdiboy (and other 2003 up exped owners out here),

Am looking at an 03 XLT model with 60k + on the odo and asking is 1.2m. Wala pa masyado naka-advertise with only a couple ranging from 1.35m-1.45m. I think may konti pang tawad but with this much mileage it might be a fair price. What do you think? What else should I be looking out for? From what i've gathered from this informative thread the ff. should be checked:

- LSD
- Front door rattling
- Maintenance costs?
- Aircon?
- Suspension/underbody?
- Rustproofing?

Stock Conti tires have almost zero thread left so I have to factor the cost of replacing them. How much do tires of this size cost?

Any inputs/feedback are highly appreciated. Salamat so oras niyo! :thanx:

consumption ko ay 21.5 liters per 100km,
suspension is 'sportier' than the 1st gen,
aircon is superb.,
i had a case of door rattling but's gone long ago,
no any sign of rust and LSDproblem to date.

pinalitan ko ng goodyear yung sa kin for 6k each, 5years ago.

jkc based sa trip computer 16.5liters per 100 kms, 4 to 5 kms per liter siguro.

portugiser so far wala pa naman nasisira sa 2003 expy namin. 9k palang tinakbo. nasa ganyan nga price ng expy ngayon. but ang laki ng mileage. hanap ka pa siguro ng mas low mileage tiiis muna.

thank you sa feedback niyo. medyo mataas nga yung mileage so am not really excited about that. am taking a look at it again maybe friday since i only saw the outside the first time because the owner was out of the country. i'll be looking at others as well....

May itinawag sakin friend ko 2000 expi 680k asking with DVD,75% pa ang tyres. 40k km palang sa odo. and Kulay black!!

^Looks like it was facelifted only to keep uniformize the look started by the new explorer last year and even the outgoing Excursion back in 2000 or 1999.

guys, the next generation expedition will have a 4.7 V8 CRDi engine besides the 5.7 V8 gas engine.. btw, we have a '03 exped, kung icocompare mo ride sa lumang exped, mas matalbog yung sa new body kasi inalis na yung air suspension

Ang ganda ng interior at bruskong brusko.

Magkano resale ng mga Exped ngayon? Sobrang bumagsak ba dahil sa taas ng gasolina?

all new expedition, ok lang mas maganda ang improvement sa interior. cguro uso na talaga ung pinauso ng audi na front end ano? lahat ng car manufacturer me kanyang version ng front end na ganun

Sa akin 65K kms pa lang reading haven't been using it much.

I had 1 major problem which was to replace the AC compressor it's expensive but OK na super lamig na uli hehehe.

Aside from this one nothing was fix.

I had to say that partly it could be my fault for the AC problem since I didn't follow the recommended service intervals since I bring the car for service every 10k. So in between they miss out to check the AC to prevent it from cloging up.
