Does the ford dealers allow owners to supply the parts?

Kasi for example yun brakepads sa dealers would cost 8,500 yata per set sa autosupply mga 3,500 lang.

If the vehicle is out of warranty, they will allow you to do so.

Yung shop naman ng dealership is usually not connected to the Ford Motor company.

Parang canteen ba sa school. Yung concessionaire ang nagpapatakbo. Nagbabayad lang sila sa school ng lease.

Otep, off topic lang saglit, ang gen 2 na pajero, pwede naman siguro i full tint sa harap nang walang putol, kahit low tech lang na tint shop?

OT: NOPE. If your Pajero is a local tonka (with plastic flares) model, may inherent characteristic (hindi naman siguro defect) ang windshield. Yung mga windshield galing sa RAGC, medyo 'buntis' meaning naka-umbok ng konti sa may center part (barely visible).

Tatlong shops na nag-attempt maglagay ng tint sa Pajero ko. The only one that got it was Winterpine dahil gumagamit sila ng heat gun. Even then, nahirapan pa din sila.

Mas madali pa daw i-tint ng buo ang windshield ng MB100 at Expedition.

on the topic of captains chairs sa 2nd row, how many can sit sa 2nd row na lang? dalawa? para na siyang Mark 3?

i'm considering this conversion into 2 captain's chair, that way the 3rd row seats will be easily accessible from the 2nd row, hindi ka na magtataas ng isang upuan para makapasok sa 3rd row, kakatamad yun magtaas kaya lagi 2loy di nagagamit yung 3rd row

dami ko na nga napuntahan nagti-tint ayaw nila mag- 1 piece mahirap daw,ayaw nila subukan.... kasi sabi ko di ko babayaran pag me imperfection hehe

Sa Jaffas one hit lang nakuha nila ng 1 piece yung harap. Sa kanila talaga kami nagpapagawa ng 1 piece pero nung makita ko ang trabaho sa Winterpine parang mas ok.

yung sa F150 ng dad ko one piece but they also had to cut it above the rear view kasi sa glass nakadikit ang rearview.

if this bit of info has not been posted yet, new model has sensor when backing off, an added feature not available on previous model...

milkline the first 03 model have 2 sensors that can be seen on the rear bumper but actual has 2 sonar and 2 radar.

But the 04 models have 4 sensors that can be seen but all 4 are radar only due to cost cutting.

CATS is ok pero SOBRANG MAHAL!!!

Dun ako nagtanong nung una. I think 3,000.00 plus ang windshield pa lang.

Then I learned that Winterpine was the subcontractor of Mitsubishi dealers for such things. So sa kanila ako nagpunta.

oo nga sobra lang mahal sa CATS pero they would be the one to know if kaya 1 piece sa windshield or not kasi their clients are usually owners of luxury vehicles like expe.

Kaya naman talaga 1 piece sa windshield ng Expedition. Depende lang talaga sa installer, sa equipment at sa film na gagamitin.

Client din kami ng CATS dati. Pati dun sa Paintless Dent Removal nila napagastos kami. Potek PDR lang Php 1,500.00 agad! Yung tumitira ng PDR na tig-300 mas magaling pa, eh. hehehehe. Hindi na kami bumalik.

thanks mga dude, sa winterpine na lang cguro ................ ano b the best tint sa windshield na di kita loob during the day pero super linaw sa gabi from the inside?
3M medium black? 3M medium neutral? Platinum magic neutral?

I'm using 3M magic neutral. That is the thickest that will work on my windshield kasi. Superblack and other darker shades have films that are too thick to work on my glass.
