guys may napansin lang ako. may natitigan akong dalawang everest kahapon while stuck in traffik. napansin ko yung license plates sa likod that's covering a portion of the keyhole? bare license plates ito ha, walang mga fancy covers/protectors. mukhang minor design flaw? I'm sure wala naman itong functional consequence.

June 5th, 2010 08:47 AM #702I agree with you sir. Lalong matatakpan if you put plate cover on it. halos 1/4 ng keyhole matatakpan. design flaws ng ford. not sure if it is already change sa bagong model.
Questions lang mga sir:
After 2 years having to drive my mother in law's everest. Recently, may squeeking sound sa front suspension. do you experience the same po? Ano po diagnose sa inyo? parang bushing yata. Pero so far, ok naman performance nya. Great torque and good fuel economy na din for it's size.

June 6th, 2010 02:37 PM #703Yup, normal yan, from gen 1 to gen 3.. Pero hindi naman na kelangan yun since may keyless entry na ang everest..
And re: squeeking sound normal na yan bro, ganyan din sa 2007 3.0L 4x4 Eve ko.. Para siya mga old Isuzu pickups(before fuego days)..Pwede mo i-try ipa-greasing sa mga shops who specialized on wheels and tires, alignments, balancing..

Until now, the eve is still in Ford Alabang, acc to the service adv, there is just one pc that wont fit, so they ordered it from the US again.
.
My sister just loves the Everest. She is planning to have her 07 4x2 a/t traded with the latest everest model.
Anybody who knows someone who can give her the best xdeal in town?

July 15th, 2010 03:55 PM #709What about Ford Global City? I'm thinking of getting the new Everest 3.0 (the 3.2 Montero SE is the other option), but this issue on after-sales service by Ford dealers is turning me off. I just want to know if I will not be committing a "costly" mistake if ever I choose the Everest over Montero.
And also, I got to test drive the 4x2 variants of both Everest and Montero, and Montero has greater acceleration than the heavier-built Everest.

July 23rd, 2010 11:31 PM #710Hi sirs!
Considering buying Ford. Ok po ba ang Escape or Everest? Is it better than an AUV (I have a Crosswind XT 2003 and planning to sell it.)?
I would still prefer a hydrogen car
