may mga posted issues na ba on the CRDi technology employed by Ford sa TDCi engines nila (on Ranger / Everest / Focus )?

Just wondering... issues like same nung lumabas sa Isuzu Trooper, and Toyota's D4D engines?

Tsikoteers, share ko lang toh.i visited Ford Cavite kanina. inquired about 09 Ford Everest. Kasi if our family is going to buy a new car we are considering this along with other SUVs (Montero, Captiva) Mas nagustuhan ko siya kesa sa Montero. though nung una talaga sarado kandado na ko sa Montero pero i thought of Ford Everest. mas okay siya for me ah. in terms of performance, safety and add on features. hindi naman mahal mag-maintain kapag Ford cars pero if Expedition and Explorer yun talaga ang mahal. and you will rarely see the 09 Everest dahil madami pa naghihintay na ma-release mga units nila. pero i saw sa Ford Cavite dami na may-ari ng Everest. for delivery pa lang. okay ang after sales. yun lang talagang POGI ang montero kaya patok pa sa masa ngayon.

Yung 2007 everest 3.0 ko, 40k kms na, walaaaaang kaproble-problema. Still rides as solid as when I got it. No dashboard nor door rattles. Walang kalampag kahit anong klaseng baku-bakong kalye pa yan.

It's one of the most underated SUVs due to the old-fashioned design, pero walang tatalo sa makina at pang-ilalim, IMO. Talagang Ford Built Tough.

Dito sa amin, parts availabilty is not a problem especially yung laging replaceable. Pero kung major yung problem, talagang wait lagi. Kahit sa Mitsu, Toyota, o Honda ganyan din.

Kung parts prices naman, pare-parehong mahal yan kahit Toyota pa yan.

I am not an Eve owner but the way I kook at it comparing side by side yong Gen. 2 at Gen. 3 may difference:

    Gen. 2 v.s. Gen. 3
Front to Front - completley different

Side to Side - There are some difference in terms of sidings, design, emblems, yong curb ng wheel.

Back to back - rear bumper, tire cover, signal lights design, curvature.

Roof top to roof top - Roof rails design binago.

Mags to mags - completely different in size & design

The curb in the rear corner minaintain ng FORD kc siguro yon ang hugis ng mga big brothers niya like the Explorer and the Expedition. Para malayo pa lang kita mo na talagang FORD na FORD ang dating.

Dito ko din kinuha yung '07 LE Ford Everest ko sa Cavite. So far, I am a contended user. I have brought it already to Pagudpud via Laoag & returned to Laguna via the mountains of Claveria, Nueva Ecija & Vizcaya - I should say that there was no instance where I encountered any problems on the road. Just a day ago, my wife & I just returned from a week vacation to northern samar - a 1,370 kms. trip, excluding our side trip to Tacloban Leyte of 430 kms. (just to grant my mother's wish of seeing the San Juanico bridge & the MacArthur park). All in all it was a memorable but very tiring trip , but as usual no problem whatsoever with my ride.
Ford Cavite is ok for me. Dito natanggal yung naririnig kong screetching sound sa brakes ko na di matanggal-tangal sa Ford Alabang where I used to have my ride serviced.
