Space-wise, BRV. Roomy for 4, fits 7 if you really have to. Ground clearance is also good at 201 mm, even better than the CR-V's 185 mm but no rated flood wading depth.

Not a fan of its dimensions though. Alanganing CUV. Minivan trying to pass off as a crossover.

Best option for me is an Innova 2.8E. MPV through and through, the best in its class. 500 mm wading matches the Ecosport, but with much more space and real space for 7 (or 8 if you want to squeeze a bit). Yun lang, hindi macho dahil nga MPV. May Forester ka naman. 😉

Lol. Hindi pang macho bro, pang mrs! She needs a jimny replacement but wants the same size. 4 door option is a plus. Will go for the titanium brisbane brown. Did a test drive earlier and the dct jerkiness is noticeable when shifting to 2nd and 3rd gear. Pick up is sluggish but wadahick the missus drives 70 tops with the jimny.

I wonder if the dct can be retrofitted with aluminum cooling fins while still being serviceable.

AT. Not a technical person so I cannot comment on your suggestion. But the SA told me that the trick is not to shift to N when on full stop for a long time.

    Too late here, but:

Super Carry. Snorkel. Diesel. Super cheap. Spend extra to find a surplus Suzuki Super Carry van, chop the body to fit and transplant the AC to the new Super Carry.

This is my expert and totally stupid opinion.

Congrats on the new EcoSport, by the way.

Thanks. The jerks from the DCT is annoying but bearable but she is not complaining. I wont be hearing complains for a while. Meantime, the jimny aircon will be a work in progress. Compressor totally gave up with a high pitch whirring shrill and a pop! Now I will get a free sauna when I visit ceejay again on Saturday.

Bro, same na tayo naka Subie at Ford. No comments rin from my wife on DCT when she is driving the Fiesta.

Our friend also just recently bought an Ecosport and she has a lot of questions regarding Ford and the DCT of the Fiesta.

Google proper way to drive a DCT ... drive it like a manual ... press accelerator, release, wait for upshift, repeat cycle ... also don't "crawl" or creep in bumper to bumper traffic ... kind of hard to do it here since vehicles will keep on cutting in front of you ... but that's how it is with DCT ...

May video seminar ba na ganyan binibigay ang Ford sa new owners... kung wala I think it's high time they should conisder giving such video seminars... para ma-appreciate ng owners yung DCT technology nila ng maayos...... no one reads owner manuals.... even lesser people have time to google and/or join car forums.

Will do a test drive today bro. Medyo may pressure na kay commander eh. Hindi na daw kaya ung sumpong ng aircon. Tumaas daw BP niya sa init.
