2018 PMS costs are supposed to be lower, right?

oh and read the 2018's fine print: brake cleaner, rags, gloves, misc. not included in the price

On the contrary...am very surprised it's quite reasonable price...my first PMS back then 2016 ....10K....pina waive ko pa Air Filter nun...

Medyo hindi naman fair na compare ang PMS cost ng Gas engine sedan to a diesel driven Truck....The oil itself is 2x The quantity needed...

Based on a quick check... the 2.5L 2AR FE needs 3.8 quarts and the 2.2 Ford ZSD-422 needs 5.4 quarts of oil. I could be very wrong though since I don't own a Ford.

If you look at it from the dealer's point of view ... it's your car that you brought in for repair / service ... so technically you are the one who's supposed to pay for the service ... sure you have insurance but it's not really the dealer's job to follow up with the insurance ... better to just get an insurance provider with good service next time ...

Gearing up for my 12mo PMS this July. Extremely low mileage less than 500 or even 250kms travelled. Let me see if their stance has really changed. Last time they used their warranty card on me on the engine air filter.

IMO, the non-perishables should not be required to change on such obviously low mileage.

Sorry, I just got into this thread. You say less than 500kms in a year? Did I read it right? What car is this? Why so low?

Yes, less than 500 kms since the last PMS (not since the truck was delivered). Out of the country most of the time the last 6 months.

Still hoping PH car manufacturers will implement the 10,000 kms or 12 months rule. There are some of us who will benefit from it, hehe.

It's almost a year old. Ford PH currently has that 6mo policy to keep the warranty intact.

ganyan sa ford india. the same cars, same hot dusty conditions, same traffic but yearly PMS interval

i don't think pinoys are clamoring for longer service intervals. toyota is still doing their 3-month interval if customer is willing to be duped. suzuki naman every 4 months. ridiculous
