mura lang naman PMS ng Mux ah, yun first 1.500KM ko eh almost 3.5K lang. may change oil at oil fiter na yun. though it will be cheaper sa Shell hihihi, kasi 8L baka mga 2.2K lang. pareho lang naman regular diesel oil ang CASA saka Shell.
mahal talaga ford, pero I doubt mapababa nila kasi FS oil talaga nagpapalaki eh, di naman pwede hinde FS sa Duratorq.
magkano lang regular shell diesel oil, tipong 250/liter, pag one gallon (6L) mas mura pa
eh ang Ford, I woulnt risk putting in a shell different viscosity dyan, dapat Motorcraft talaga lalo na pag out of warrranty . walang naman Shell 5W-30 dito sa Pnas. Usually ang pamalit ng Shell sa 5W-30 eh 0W-20. sa 0 pa lang sigurado manipis ang langis.
On the contrary Casa price for the FS Shell Helix Ultra ProAF 5W-30 is quite competitive, it's only about Php450++ per liter where as the counterpart oil if you will buy in Gas station would cost you Php750++ .
Now to really make FORD PMS cost comparable to it's competitor is to lower their mark up for the spare parts and consumables. If you will compare the servicing cost in India and Thailand Ford actually is much lower to maintain in those countries compared to their rivals. I've checked their respective websites similar to what Ford Phil is coming up now their pricing is really good. For example Air Filter, Fuel Filter, Cabin Filter you can get those at Fordmaz cheaper more than 60% casa pricing, so dun tlaga tumataga ang Ford Phil.
with regards sa Oil..for the new line of Diesel engines of Ford it recommends yun WSS-M2C913-D ( ACEA A5/B5 )
In Australia..i think they either use Mobil & Nulon sa Thailand its Castrol and for Phil they use Shell. Others use Motorcraft. All of those LO brand one of their product line meets that ford specs of oil. It happens lang na Shell lang available nagmeet dun here sa Pinas or there may also other available but Shell got the contract. Or there are other brand that have ACEA A5/B5 rating but was not tested by Ford in house Testing, Castrol, Mobil and Nulon also was tested in house by Ford. But comparing the oil pricing for India/Thailand almost hindi nagkakalayo with direct money conversion. It's the rest of the mentioned consumable parts ang sobra layo ng pricing.![]()

probably mar31 or apr1. coz it's basically an april fool's most likely
know why i know? coz i showed them that jan 2017 price guide and they flat out said that it's just a "guide", not actual real-world priceswhich was the reason why i ended up getting the 3yr SSP
now let's see if they make it real this time. keeping my fingers crossed
Mayrun Shell Helix Ultra 5w30. Ito gamit ng casa ng Ford.
Gamit ko Motorcraft 5w30.

yep...even an oil are rated A5/B5 iba iba pa rin ang application. Some doesn't meet the required use for high sulfur fuel and bio diesel. Diff. car engine manufacturers actually spent a good amount of money on the research to came up with those Specifications.
I think the rationale why many recommends Motorcraft is because it's the default brand of parts and oil for Ford. So it's nice to play the devils advocate hmmmm...why is it not being recommended or use now in this engines...Motorcraft still a good oil but on those older gas engines of ford. Buti na lang it's all in the internet....just a few googling and all the data's are there.
