August 1st, 2007 08:16 PM #43i Ford Philippines really hit it on the nail this time.
Its priced right, with the deletion of rear vent a/c and sunroof was a necessary move to keep the price fm. swinging over too much.
Hatchback is a really good body of choice obviously for handling as well as practicality.
Ford used a 2.0li TDci version so u won't feel bad, at least u got alot more power and torque than the Elantra Diesel....
Now i need a test drive.
now i need to sell my ESi and Hilux Surf, anybody interested? he he he.

i think gm philippines will introduce the optra diesel(the same engine used in the captiva suv) later this year though that one will compete against the elantra..
nawala na pala yung 1.6 liter gas version this time...sana ilabas din yung 1.8 tdci variant!!

Ganda ng focus diesel na to. We (FCP) did the testdrives (drag race, autocross) sobrang nakaka-adik!

now, this is something worth considering especially for someone who's window shopping for a new vehicle.
for sure, this baby rocks. having driven a diesel (turbo diesel, that is) on a mid-size pick-up- which has lots of torque- implanting to a sedan is another story.
