Bed cover for F1's would range from 12K to 15K.
Try asking around for good second hand in Pulilan Bul.

It sells quite cheap on the used market.

But just because the acquisition cost is low, it does not mean the ownership cost is also low.

Prepare to spend more for its fuel, parts, and maintenance bits than what the "local" pickups sold in the country.

On the other side of the equation, it is huge and has premium space. Evokes a "big time" image thus street creed. Walang papalag sa yo sa daan.

If I were you, i wont buy the f150. First, anlaki niya! ang hirap hirap ipark. 2nd, FC. Damn, you'll really need lots and lots of money.... 3rd, parts niya, maintenance pa.

Kung marami kang pera, then go get it.

yup maporma nga siya. pero masakit sa bulsa kapag magpapa-gas na. nakabili kami niyan October last year, yung 2001 Lariat 4X4, binenta din namin last March 2009. binenta namin ng palugi, kasi nga di na namin kaya yung fuel consumption. palagi na lang din nakaparada sa garahe kasi walang gustong gumamit.

mas okay pa yata yung Ford Explorer Sport Trac, IMO.

FC is not that bad, maybe your unit is out tune.

in fairness to the F-150, mas feeling rich ako pag dun ako nakasakay kesa sa Pajero namin.

namimiss ko na tuloy si FISO

AFAIK 4.0 v6 ng sport trac and 4.6 ng f150 has the same FC.

Sayang binenta niyo na. Anyway, if you were getting 5-6 km/L with your F150, that isn't so bad na considering Camrys, Cefiros and other Midsize sedans are getting that fuel mileage in pure city driving.

I can only get 5-6km/L in our v8 suv when I use it for long drives

experience ko before in buying used pickups is that most of them ay laspag na, owners buy pickups to use them and not just pamporma, secondary nalang siguro yung porma. pinangkakarga talaga yan kaya most of them have high mileage and most units are abused, the f150 is not an exception. may kilala akong f150 owner na pinang haharabas and ginagamit talaga sa business. maswerte ka na kung makakita ka ng f150 na sariwang sariwa pa, and kung nasa 20k lang odometer nya thereabouts malamang tampered na ito.

suspension parts ng f150 costs 20k and above kaya its no joke trying to restore one, although pag napalitan mo na lahat ng pang ilalim it will give you many years of service naman. watch out for the electronics, sakit ng mga lumang ford ang electricals. i was fortunate enough not to have encountered such problems with my previous 02 expedition though, ang major gastos ko lang dati is the rear suspension airbags which gave way (30k damage, ouch!), no problems with the f150 kasi leaf spring ang rear suspension niya.

Well if i have my way i would purchase another expe/f150, the astig factor is priceless, mulcting traffic cops would look the other way pag ito dala mong ride. had to sell my expy lang to keep a low profile kasi mainit sa mata yun.

since puro american v8 cars naman rides ng TS i think sisiw lang ang maintennance and pa gas nito para sa kanya, whatever makes us happy diba? life is too short so enjoy it

Aside from casa, may mga parts ba available ang f150? I'm checking out a couple of LPG powered units. Isang lariat flareside, isang 4x2 v6 styleside. Mas attracted ako sa flareside kasi it does not look like an ordinary pickup...kaso V8 hehehe...thanks!
