car for everyday use....will you recommend the Ford Escape?

just finished the new car paint protection from big bert's, changed headlights to xenon HID, and upgraded headunit to ICE.

hi ross. kasi i have a portable garmin already so i dont need a HU with gps. also, ford greenhills advised me that those units with gps are china brands. mas maganda na daw kumuha ng branded para maganda rin ang tunog. so i decided to get a pioneer HU. ganda ng tunog kahit stock speakers lang.

Didn't see this thread before but congrats on your Escape. We had the 2004 model before and it was really solid till we sold it this year with 130k km on the odo. One tip is to always maintain the transmission every 40k km to be sure. Is your mom going to drive or does your mom have a driver?

Nice! The rear seats have ample legroom and comfortable as well so having a driver is recommended.

1.060m. yung head unit, nag tanong ako sa Sales Agent ko. binigay sa akin kung san sila kumukuha para direct na lang ako nag order. mas mura (20k).

rockiee, kamusta performance ng Escape? I'm sure mas masarap yan dalhin ngayon kasi mura nalang gas compared when it was 56/L

hi renz. sobrang sarap dalhin. even my loves to drive it around nuvali (ayaw na nya talaga mag drive sa EDSA).

sobrang smooth. and it averages 7-8 kms. per liter (city driving). and around 9-10 kms. in hi ways.

buti na lang nakinig ako sa mga gurus dito.

Did you buy the XLS or XLT? What was the package given to you? Also planning to buy but the discount given to me for the XLS was around 45K and for the XLT 81K. Can you give the name of your sales agent?

just bought an xls for my wife added some accessories and changed the tires and rim to 17" and 235/65/r17

just got my wife's escape. got the xls beacause of the discount. just added exterior accessories, leather seats, fog lights, changed the head unit to 2 dn touch screen,change the mags to 17" and tires to 235/65/r17.

My Dad bought me a new Ford Escape too. Dahil sa promo din. Maganda ba yung 18" or 17" para sa escape saka pwede ba medyo manipis yung gulong ko kailangan pag naka 18"/17" ka dapat makapal?

Yes ok naman kung mas manipis ang lagay mo. Ako sinadya kna makapal kasi minsan ginagamit namin magout of town ang escape.
