ride nyo po talga yan? cool... naghahanap kse ako ng picture na xuvi black e para mapost ko dito sa tsikot. yan kse dalawa pinagpipilian ng momy ko and ganyan din yung mga color.
mga kuya kng same lng ng engine ang everest and ranger, so 100% namana ng everest ang sakit ng ranger.

6k na siya and so far so good. hopefully nothing of those bad reviews from the happens. imo, you guys are right. preventive maintenance will be the key to the longer life of this vehicle.
personally, i like the looks of the everest over the xuvi. parang i cant take away the similarity of the xuvi to its more basic models and so it turns me off. mas suv looking sya for the price of a top auv. the ford also is the bigger more spacious vehicle thus for me better especially with kids and bigger families. impressive accelaration for me is very useful in city driving (iwas masingitan;) )

i'm a proud owner of the XUVi. I've learned on how to play this thing, and am no longer gonna complain on the lag of its acceleration...
i'd rather get the base model of an SUV than the high end model of an AUV.
plus, it will sit 7 comfortably. it's engine outclasses the crosswind. and most importantly, has basic safety features (dual airbags). i'd rather have dual airbags than the stupid karaoke machine that the XUVi has.

Plus the amenities that you get. Di mo rin naman masyadong kelangan ng masyadong malakas na engine kung city driving din lang eh
sa hirap ng pera ngayon, parang sumugal ka pag Ford bibilhin mo eh. Lalo na may mga bad reviews. Tska Everest is like a pickup with campershells on it.

20vanda01, it's not the endeavor. The G-wagon is based on the strada platform. Here's a pic of the Mitsu Endeavor... although, I'm not certain it's going to hit Philippine shores. I know Mitsu has plans to bring in the G-Wagon whcih is being used in other Asian countries.

maganda nga ang xuvi pero kumpleto kasi ang safety ammenities nang everest, tsaka SUV class na sya unlike nang xuvi na AUV ang classification. 4x4 pa ang everest w/c means additional advantage yan sa mga kagaya ko na madalas eh sa province nagagamit ang sasakyan....
mas tahimik ang makina nang everest, yung XUVi nang barkada ko alam na alam namin kapag dumarating na kahit naka-menor na ang takbo...hehehehe nasa loob pa kami nang resthouse ha.... less than one year pa lang yung unit nya, ang mga nasira na raw eh yung tambutso (me thread dito nyan.) , clutch (di ko alam kung alin don pero 'lumusot' daw eh.) radiator (nabutas daw, lakas daw nang leak.) tsaka me mga squeaking sound na raw ang body.....long distance parati ang byahe nya at maganda ang pagkaka-break in nya nang XUVi nya, nagamit ko rin yung unit nya at okey naman, maganda rin yung acceleration (M/T) atsaka ang ganda nang interior talaga...yun nga lang ang lakas talaga nang vibration kapag idle sya, para akong nasa passenger jeepney...hehehe 80 KPH is just like cruising speed sa XUVi nya kaya lang eh parang napakabilis na nang takbo nya dahil siguro sa height nya at laki nang gulong, medyo hirap na sya sa 120KPH and above kelangan mo talagang ibwelo nang husto yung 3rd and 4th gear para ma-attain yung 120 ++ although hanggang 120 lang ako dun kase medyo madami ang sasakyan sa tanay-pillila (highway area yung hindi dadaan nang mga bayan)
Yung everest na kaibigan nya eh iniwan kami, grabe sa arangkada..... 120 na nga takbo namin eh nakakalayo pa sya nang husto, buti na lang at di alam yung pupuntahan kaya kapag me intersection eh tumitigil sya at hinihintay kami...hehehehe
yan ang feedback talaga sa ford ranger (kaparehas lang ng everest engine and platform) I think nai-post na dito sa tsikot ang mga sira nito w/c is engine related pa.... My friends former company had a ranger for a service truck, and around 2 yrs pa lang daw eh bumigay na yung engine, cracked cylinder head....unlike nung mga mitsu L200's nila na late 90's pa daw nilang service truck, wasak na raw yung body pero maayos na maayos pa raw yung engine, yon nga lang medyo mausok na pero ni minsan raw eh di pa naibaba ang engine.
XUVi's engine are no doubt a very reliable one, makina na yan nang fuego line up nila eh...pati na rin nung mga naunang highlander na models nila...
pero meron talagang mga lemon units eh, kahit pa sabihin mo na toyota, isuzu, ford or mitsus yan, kahit anong manufacturer, pag lemon yung napunta sa yo eh paniguradong sakit nang ulo at bulsa yan....hehehe wala pa namang lemon law sa pinas unlike in other countries...
