about the topic, i'll choose the XUVi for the porma.. lakas ng dating eh..
but on the engine noise.. mas gusto ko ang everest dahil mas tahimik..
ride quality and interior setup is another topic

we have both the everest and yung mas luma sa crosswind na hilander... ang alam ko yung luma and bagong crosswind same engine lang, mabibitin ka talaga sa engine sa crosswind pag nakasakay ka na sa everest.. ang tulin ng takbo, pati ang tahimik pa, pero yung plastic ng interior ng everest, pangit... basta yung interior masmaganda naman nga talaga yung crosswind...

pero exterior, mas gusto ko ang laki and mukhang rugged na everest... and pag cornering kahit icorner mo ng todo ok lang ang everest d ka matatakot.

ride? uhhhm almost same lang sila, matigas hehe pero sobra luwag ng everest, and maganda yung pagkakalagay ng aircon vents sa taas... uhhhmm mas maganda din ang kambyo, SUV talaga.. yun lang po hope this helps

Side (crosswind) + rear (CRV) + front (REVO) = 4x4 Everest and that is just for me.

if you plan to hold your car for long (maybe 7-10years); I would go for Everest because of lower resale value.

I got the 4x4 Everest and so far I am satisfied with it.

If you're goin to use the car for 3 to 4 yrs get the Everest na, it's bigger & has more engine power. Yun interior features can be installed naman dahan dahan if budgeted ka. Consider na lang yun things sa everest like hirap sa parts, low resale value, and mukhang Ranger. hehehe... so if you;re goin to use it for a while pwede na yan, and since bago yan medyo less likely ka magkakaprob sa engine parts.

And if you're considering buying a 2nd hand, iwas ka konti sa Pajeros (no offend sa owners) i had the 2 generations of it yun Field MAster and yun Ppside, grabe mausok na mahina pa engine. I installed K&Ns, turbo boosters, etc... ganun pa din. So when i sold the 2 units i changed to Patrol na.

Engine reliability and toughness sa isuzu ako (although mabagal umarangkada ang XUVi) pero what the heck money's worth naman!!! I don't know about FORD pero dami talagang negative reviews. Kahit yung ranger which is the same as the everest (yun nga lang sarado ang everest) dami problema baka namana rin ng everest yung mga problemang yun hehehehehe.....

OT: torque ride ko 'yan a... he he he kahit di malaki ang pic sa pagkapost okay lang... namiss ko tuloy ride ko, 2 weeks pa lang na di ko nakikita, 7 months pa, haaayy tagal pa.

That time kasi ala pang Ford Everest, pero kung meron na when I got my Crosswind, Crosswind pa rin ako, just because of not sooooo good review of the ranger, e.g., top overhaul, clutch problem, etc.

as per dealer sinice manipis daw ang coating ng Crosswind
so mga 985K din price nito
Everest 4x2 all in all 995k

malakas naman ... at very powerful makina at

I agree... isuzu engine toughness and reliable aircon are my points for considering the XUV.

The Everest has a very quiet engine and strong acceleration but my friends who have Rangers (Everest platform) experience the common problems.
