no fog lights and roofrails, it has 15 inch steel wheels with full covers. No Sync infotainment system and no steering wheel mounted cotrols. Grilles and door handles are black.

Hi guys. Am considering the Ecosport Trend M/T though we might buy it at the last half of this year. Currently, our family is eyeing on this one. What are the things that we should watch out for (i.e. issues)? Thanks!

Got a titanium just a week ago. Really enjoying it so far. The dct responds very well, no problem so far. Dont push hard on the accelerator to avoid that jerking feel of the transmission, rather kep it easy on the gas, then you will have a smooth ride. You need to adapt to the DCT transmission. Now, everything is smoother to drive.

Got my ecosport trend mt last year dec at no issues for me. Anyway eksakto lng naman at enjoy the family. Pang city lng naman at once a year lng naman uwi ng province. Dali pa i park, dali isingit, kunti lng lilinisin pag car wash, etc.

Mobilio, ertega, brv pandak then kuno 7 seaters?!

Pros and cons dude.

I have a fiesta S (with DCT), it's been a solid 5 years of ownership, we specifically got the S vs Trend because of DCT. Not jerky when it shifts, very smooth. You do hear the engine grunt and shifts when you push it abruptly (to overtake, for example) but I only hear it, I don't feel the "jerk" or any shift shock, to me it is normal. In other (conventional) A/Ts I've driven shift shock is noticeable but not on Ford DCTs (Fiesta, Focus, and an SUV I rented, an Escape I think... all good) . It almost feel like driving a CVT.

I like the Fiesta so much (and its DCT) that I am thinking of replacing it with an ecosport when it is time... that's why I visited this thread, haven't been for a while.

i have seen some units installed at the rear plate bolt. if you have view angle problem, a bend-able metal strip should be helpful.

Just recently bought Ford Ecosport and chose the MT because of the not so good review of its DCT. So far no regrets and its really a bang for your bucks.

EcoSport continues to be Ford's bestseller, DCT issue notwithstanding: Ford Philippines April 217 Sales Rise Due to EcoSport | ************ - Philippine Car News, Car Reviews, Car Features, Car Buyer's Guide and Car Prices.

Perhaps, at the end of the day, it is all a matter of how one adjusts and adapts to the DCT

    But ecoboost would be better

Not everyone is impacted by the DCT, it's working well with the 1.0L Ecoboost engine. However, Ford is starting to do away with its dry-clutch DCT.

DSG is working well also with our VW Jetta.
