IMO, getting an SUV for everyday use at 200K is a bit hard unless you want a Feroza, Suzuki Samurai or a old Pajero/Patrol (which will probably need repairs)... Save up muna or look at other alternatives like a early 90's pick-up.

Bili ka na lang Tamaraw FX tapos pormahan mo sa 200K may matitira ka pang pampaayos at pamporma.

I agree. My bestfriend EssB, has a Tamaraw FX. Pinangbayad utang lang sa kanila yun and the condition of the FX when they got it is... mas laspag pa sa mga pinangbibiyaheng FX! Then dahan-dahan nyang inayos yung FX starting from the engine, wiring, sounds, rims, paint, then interior (in this order). It's not yet complete but the transformation is nice from a beat up FX to a pimpin FX!

By the way, I like the Kia Sportage! A diesel version is available as surplus. Meron ding extended version called Grand Sportage. Mura lang yun bro! Ang dami sa Cebu! PM mo si Finchy18 if you need more info on that since he lives in Cebu.

It looks ok but the downside are:
    * It's converted so no guarantee that the conversion was done right. If you are OC like me, you'd be spending a substantial amount of money just to correct the conversion done on it, since budget is an issue
    * It lacks a door on the supposed passenger side of the vehicle. I'd rather get the full-sized Space Wagon complete with 5-doors and CrystalLite roof. Then spend on the conversion correction still! OC nga ako eh! But then, that's just me.

Actually ok din Vitara! Pogi, robust and a can do vehicle. I'm just not sure it can handle barkada duties though since it can only seat 5 average sized adults. Pero kasama pa din yung Vitara sa wishlist ko!

ayus sa reply ah... mr. suave ang dating nyan pre....
i would not recommend the feroza. the kia sportage is better than this vehicle.

the suzuki vitara or the samurai is my choice.
pero since gusto mo maging macho, samurai na lang... para pareho ni shaider...

Regarding the RV-R... I agree with russ... the full-length SpaceWagon is a much better vehicle. Medyo maliit ang likod ng RVR due to the short wheelbase (the rear seat isn't anything to write home about), whereas the Spacewagon is very comfortable.

Despite its being gasoline-powered, the local Spacewagon is a good buy.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

Mahal pa rin ang spacewagon (orig LHD), pinakamura na yung 220K na nakita ko.

Pwede sa Suzuki Escudo below 200K lang.
