Interesting bits as the ford ranger/everests do use the 6R80 transmission.
I dont know yet if the 10sp will eventually replace the existing 6R80 in rangers/everests. Maybe 2019 including the EcoBlue Engines?
Someone mentioned the everest/ranger transmission is from getrag, the 6r80 is built by Ford and licensed by ZF.
Ford does have getrags on their sedans..

GM and Fomoco partnered to develop these 10sp transmissions. Hmmm how soon will it be used on the colorados/trailblazers...
planning to keep it for 15yrs just done 10,000 km already replaced the transfer case fluid w/...
