Aluminum na rin yung body ng Expedition. These trucks use the same platform, tranny, and engine.

Even the all-new Explorer. Their trannies are still shared with Expedition/F150 but the engine is different unlike the previous generation. From 3.5 to 3.0 ecoboost.

Explorers wil probably cost north of 3m..
F150 will also wont outsell the Transit or the old Explorer...
Unless they offer the 3.0 powerstroke v6 with fair pricing. Maybe this will not be possible. Baka ecoboost or the 5.0L V8 lang yung engines.

Based on the article, the only engine option will be the 3.5L V6 Ecoboost which is shared with the Explorer Sport AWD and the Expedition. No need for an NA engine as the Ecoboost engines offer much more torque.

Also sips less fuel than the 5.0L V8.

Ford has proven with the Raptor (based also on the F150 platform) that the 3.5L V6 Ecoboost engine has more merits than the older V8 engines. The first gen Raptor (SVT) used initially a 5.4L V8 and then upgraded to the 6.2L V8. The current Raptor (2nd gen) now uses a more powerful version of the 3.5L V6 Ecoboost (rated at 450hp).

If FordPH can pave the way to bring the F150 locally, they can also bring the Raptor.

The standard F150 might fit within mall parking areas as I have seen new Expeditions being parked. The Raptor though will be definitely something else.

The F150 would do well as a road trip hauler. It has more than space for 5 people, a big cargo bay for lots of stuff, and you can even tow something (10k pounds).

It is possible to make it here. Look at the sales success of the F150 raptor's smaller brother.
F150 raptor might launch it here maybe next year, but there is already a new 2021 F150 coming

or hope Ford PH will launch the facelifted? (or the next gen) 2021 F150 instead of the 2018-2020 look of the current truck.
