My Raptor got its first scratches on the hood, roof and flanks - courtesy of a rooster that strutted on its hood. The fowl perched on the slippery hood first, and when I shooed the rooster away, it panicked and scratched the roof and flanks as well. Oh well, now I'm not too sensitive anymore in having my Raptor brush against shrubs when going off-road.

did you protect the paint with some heavy duty synthetic wax or sealant?

hope your detailer of choice is good.

I tried to polish out the scratches with two types of scratch remover, but they're just too deep.

I'll leave the scratches alone for now, para di ako maselan sa other scratches when off-roading. It looks like it's only the clear coat that was damaged.

Raptor vs rooster... rooster wins

Deep scratch na yan.. polishing can improve but not totally remove.. tsaka baka maging thin ang clear coat sa polishing

Mga sir anong matting gamit nyo? And how much? I saw shark deepdish on a montero and strada parang di masyado lapat eh. Yung inyo ba?
