Tagal na niyan yung bago-bago naman.

As our source had explained, the issue stems from a problematic batch of parts from a OEM. What Ford's inspection team had discovered was that these parts had protrusions from the welding studs. The protrusions affected the performance of the torque converters, to the point that all drive was lost.

Roughly 1000 units of Ranger (including the Raptor) and Everest have the faulty component.

Issues with faulty parts in the auto industry is quite a common occurrence, but thankfully Ford's quality control team reacted quickly and immediately issued an order to stop selling and stop shipping the affected models fitted with the faulty 10-speed gearboxes.

Our source says that customers in Thailand were the most affected given the short shipping times from the factory to the dealerships. These units are being fitted with parts that conform to Ford's specifications.

Export customers were likewise affected. Some of these affected vehicles were sold by Ford Australia (which also acquires their units from Thailand) and had shown the symptoms of the problem. Ford is shipping the proper replacement components by air so as to get the vehicles back on the road as quickly as possible

Just wondering how you guys are using your pick ups?

I mean pang porma lang or you actually load it with heavy stuff and make use of the HP and torque.

    Curious lang. Walang malisya.

There are wants & there are needs. Raptors fall more towards the former.[emoji4]

Oo naman ang uso kasi ngaun walk the talk talk the walk parang ganun

One cant just buy a masculine car thinking that it will change your life or soemthing

Dami mga millennials ngaun nag aral ng mga Socratic Philosophies,

They can see thru your facade, so its like wasting P2M for nothing kung sa Porma lang ang purpose. This car is being used for power. Not power driving ha, power tripping lol

And to that, wala din naman advatnage to sa mga old school dieselers, i mean bi turbo 2.0 diesel, good luck sa bumper traffic

For me I will use both. Pang porma at pang karga ng kahit ano. Gamit sa konting negosyo. Gamit din sa bundok. Kaya all around sya. I find it hard to move things now since I sold my ranger t6 month ago and the raptor is still nowhere to find.

Same here sir, binenta ko na din wildtrak ko and waiting na lang for raptor. Will use both for work and syempre porma.

Sanay na din sa haba ng ranger so not a big deal when driving, parking etc for ranger.

There is price protection program as per agent!

The things is, the memo surface before the price increase..

Thats a good news sa mga willing mag wait and not accepting ridiculous offers and add on para di abutin ng price increase...

Not so good to like me who has been told that there is no price protect..

Ganda sana ng offer sakin.. 1.898 + Lto reg (9,300) only sa isang dealer cash transaction!

Sabi ko pa naman im willing to wait till the end of year pa just to avail that deal..

And knowing the pending price increase, i change my purchase transaction to bank p.o. and different dealer with high D.I., 50k plus insurance, 25k tint, 7k freight, 15k lto reg, bank chattel and got the unit...

    Haha..

    Nice Ford!

    Na Poker ako! [emoji13]

Dapat naniwala ako pag may tyaga, may nilaga! [emoji16][emoji16][emoji16]

Depends na siguro sa agent mo regarding the price protection if indeed there is one.

Sales Agents will do anything to sell a unit ... It's not the agent who decides if there will be price protection or not ... Not even the Sales Manager can decide ...

likewise, good things comes to those who waits

yung kasama ko sa work dito sa overseas was happy that his unit was delivered 2 days ago. he placed his order daw as early as when the rumors about the raptor came out. yun nga lang, he needs to wait another 3 weeks before he can drive it kasi 3rd week pa ng March ang bakasyon niya

My SA called me earlier and asked for additional documents para sa main office siguro nila. To make sure daw na I get the price protect.

    Seems legit.
