did you protect the paint with some heavy duty synthetic wax or sealant?

hope your detailer of choice is good.

    Raptor vs rooster... rooster wins

Deep scratch na yan.. polishing can improve but not totally remove.. tsaka baka maging thin ang clear coat sa polishing

If you found the brakes wanting, you can upgrade it to AP, saw one on FB (Thai) they installed one.

It's meant to be an offroader so the ride will be as harsh as any pickup truck.

Rather than the suspension, I think this has more to do with the wheel and tire setup. Big all terrain tires like those on the Raptor are heavy, and unsprung weight is something you can definitely feel.

ASPW talks weight in this video, and his A/T tire setup of the same brand/model and a similar size to those on the Ranger Raptor's weighs 42.5kg each! (BFG KO2, ASPW 275/75R17, Stock Ranger Raptor 275/70R17)

Think about it, every time the car hits a bump or a pothole, there's 42.5kg on each tire flying about, and that energy has to be absorbed by the shock absorbers and springs in the suspension.

Gents correct me if Im wrong. I bought the Toyota Hilux because of the high resale value and the filters and parts are more cheaper than the Ford. But my brother told me the only advantage of a Toyota model is the high resale value. The filters and parts of the Ford models are now competitive to the price of Toyota. Is this now true?

    The difference isnt that big.

Brake pads. Shock absorbers. Marami after market.

By the way the biggest aftermarket parts in the world is fake toyota genuine parts lol.

Dh26 million fake Toyota spare parts seized in UAE

Hmm. I may have to agree they are indeed becoming more competitive in terms of parts pricing as compared to their Japanese counterparts.

What's yet to be known is if they can up the competition in terms of reliability. I actually care less if their pricing is a bit (operative word "bit") more premium. After all, law of supply and demand still rings true (for every 1 Ranger/Ranger Raptor in the PH, there's probably 30 to 40 HiLuxes, maybe even more )

Hope they would also achieve "bulletproof status" along with the likes of Toyota/Isuzu. To achieve that, they should really pay particular attention to their powertrains. It had been their Achilles heel for ages!

    Maybe someday.
