I hope it gets out next week - the wait for the OR/CR is turning out to be even worse than the wild chase for a unit ahead of the long lines.
You might want to have a nice cup of coffee with your agent. I had my agent working on my OR/CR on October 17, saying I won't drive the unit home until they had the papers ready. OR/CR came out last Friday (Oct 26). No plates though, but at least I am road-legal. Now the wait for the plates begin.

Is it true that you can no longer choose or request for the ending number of the plates?

I wish my dealer can move as fast as yours. What color did you get? First impressions?

Unless the battery is totally shorted, it is not going to go dead before it will tell you that you cant open and close the door anymore. At that point, it will still have enough juice to power the remote cct for the car to acknowledge that the key is there. If the battery is totally zero voltage, that is just the same as just a key.

Lol.... the Raptor is bred for the rough stuff, but it drives quite nicely as well over asphalt and concrete roads. When some contractors do a sloppy job on the finish of the pavement, the Fox shocks make sure that the ride is smooth.

I had some concern earlier that the tire's tall aspect ratio, which is designed for maximum flexibility over rough surfaces, might be too flexible for pavement and could result into a vague surface-hugging performance. But this concern was unfounded - the Raptor corners sure-footedly over concrete and asphalt, like it's on rails. For comparison, the Raptor's 285/70/R17 tires translate into a tire profile of around 199.5 mm, while the WT4x4's 265/60/R18 is around 159 mm - a significant difference of 40.5 mm (over 1-1/2 inches).

With the current enthusiasm of the LTO in implementing archaic laws concerning vehicle mods, it's good to realize that the Raptor comes from the factory already "pre-modified," no need to tinker with the tires, add fender flares, or lift. As is, it should be immune from LTO scrutiny along this concern.

Not all enforcers would know what is stock or not.

When the no obstruction on the windshield policy by mmda or lto was hot a year ago, there was an issue with the mazda stock touchscreen being just over the dashboard.

Oh, it's easy to show the curious enforcer a Ford Raptor brochure that indicates the stock features of the vehicle.

That just shows you how un-informed they are on what they are enforcing.

Sir, may I ask if you have compared the raptor's acceleration with other pick-up during overtaking or just plain sprint. Thank you.

I haven't yet accelerated mine to its limits, that should happen when I've broken it in. It does feel faster accelerating than my 2013 Montero (178 PS/400 NM).

An online review mentions that in their tests the Raptor clocks 10.4 sec for the 0 - 100 KPH sprint, compared to 11.1 sec of the WT 3.2L, and 9.7 sec of the Colorado.

10 seconds for a 0-100kmh sprint from a midsize pickup is decent enough. It’s quicker than most PPVs who can only do 11-13 seconds. The good thing about the Ranger Raptor is that it can keep almost the same pace even in rough terrain.

If you want a quicker pickup, there are some quick ones offered in the US but these are powered by turbo gas engines.

How do you like this kind of Raptor that spoiled Americans buy? V8 and everything big. They go to work, attend parties and go groceries with it. Yes, it is fast. Not my thing, I'd rather get a Porsche SUV, three year old for the same price.
The sad news for us is that this cost pretty much the same as the Raptor in Asia.

That would be nice if with a diesel-burning mill. I'd pass if the engine is gasoline-fueled. I sold my F150 4x4 Lariat (less than 25K km mileage) in the early 2000s when gas prices started to go up - with my heavy foot, I was doing 2 - 4 km/l in the city and 5 - 6 km/l in the highway.
