Based on the specs in the FordPH site, the Active City Stop and automated parking assist is only available in the Plus models. There are some features that are also not found in the base models but the good thing is that all models have the same turbo engine.

Other features that are present in all variants are anti-lock brakes, dual front and side airbags, Active City Stop, Hill Launch Assist, traction control and Park Lock Control. Cruise control is only available in the range-topping models.

Updated na with comparison sheet of the 4 models yung FordPH site for the new Focus.

Tempted na ako to trade-in my Fiesta 1.0L Ecoboost for the Focus 1.5L Ecoboost.

^^^Just browse thru Cars and select the "New Focus". The "Compare Models" section is at the bottom of the page.

Went to Ford Makati last weekend and nothing yet on their inventory except for the display unit. Pricing follows standard bank process (20% DP, amortization for 36 or 48 or 60 months. Told them I will be interested if they give me a test drive and if they take trade-ins for a 2014 Fiesta Ecoboost.

Sarap nito sa corners with the torque vectoring control. The new civic or new elantra doesnt have this feature. I still wonder what the suspension configuration is for the rear.

As per the FordPH site, the rear suspension is Rear Independent Control Blade Multi-link System with Stabilizer. All models share the same suspension setup and will come standard with Torque Vectoring Control.

My brother has a fiesta 1.0 ecoboost and i really enjoyed driving it and i never feel tired even after long distance trips of 480+ kms. So how much more with this focus that has bigger body and engine.

If that new 6AT SelectShift tranny is quite quick to change gears and coupled with that amount of torque at low rpm, I think the Focus 1.5L Ecoboost can easily do 7 seconds on a 0-100kmh sprint. I guess it will stay on top as the quickest compact available unless Honda brings in right away the new Civic 1.5L Turbo or VW brings in the Golf/Jetta 1.8L Turbo models.

Ive seen a few of the focuses roaming around already. It looks a bit better than the old model and the 180hp engine is quite tempting. There is already a unit in the showroom of Ford BGC if you guys want to check it out. There are a few in the storage lot of Ford Alabang (the one near the BPOs).

Australian reviews peg the 0-100 to 8.5 seconds which is decent and probably as fast as an 86 in the real world.
