At first mejo nakakapalan ako sa chrome grille, then again ganyan naman trend sa US trucks.

Front grille reminds me of the 2008 F150 :


Hope may variant sila na blackened yung 3 horizontal chrome bars (or DIY): like sa f150 2008

I like the looks of the newer model, i think interchangeable yan, if you have the money pwede siguro mag facelift ng current ranger, L/R panels, grill and headlamps, and bumper.

Kakabili ko lng ng ford ranger last week sa ford manila bay. Kinabukasan ni road trip ko siya from manila to manaoag,baguio,vigan,ilocos norte at balik sa manila. Then nag roro papuntang iloilo. 1 week pa lng nsa 1700 kms na yung odo, problema nagpa schedule ako ng PMS pero next week pa yung check up ksi haba ng pila so nasa 2 weeks pa lng yung sasakyan. Hindi kaya ako magkaka problema sa warranty nito kapag 1700 odo at 2 weeks old yung sasakyan para sa 1k PMS?

Better ask your SA/casa warranty department po before the trip para sigurado. Alam ko hindi sila ganun kahigpit on first 1 k pms.

Sorry naka 1700 km kana pala.
Pero alam ko hindi sila ganun kahigpit sa 1k pms. May kasabay ako dati thou ecosport yun. 4 k na odo reading bago nakapunta for 1k pms. Wala naman problema sa SA niya.

If may complain ka sa auto especially sa underchassis, example, steering wheel not aligned or may "kabig" pede mo pa ipasok as warranty. If lumagpas ka na sa 1k/1month kms, di na nila i accept and i charge ka na ng wheel alignment.

Eto lang nakita ko ginagawa sa 1k service.

1. Retorque all wheels to specs.
2. Check all fluid levels, napansin ko nasobrahan pa sa lagay ung sa coolant and brake fluid coming from thailand/delivered to us. - no biggie.
3. Perform service bulletins. Example: Reflash TCM - If may update from Ford HQ. Add insulation/heatshield on some parts. - may nababasa ako ganito sa ibang forums.
4. Check owner complains if any. Sa akin, pinaayos ko ung mga hose clamps. Ang dami ko nakita na tagilid kabit and maluluwag kasi.

Wla akong nakita na defect sa ranger. 😀 Ang layo ng tinakbo pero wla naging problema. Hindi rin kumakabig yung manibela sa highway pag binitawan mo. Wla din lag sa turbo. Minimum din yung init ng makina. Check up lng kailangan nito sa 1k PMS, yung coolant wla din bawas. Sana free pa rin yung labor kahit nsa 1700 na yung odo

asa ka pa sa ford may free pa pag ganyan super lampas na sabi ng sa ko bago 1k pms maximum daw 1100 km.
