Let me start with a non-deal breaker wish...

I wish the new model has a start/stop push button.

Some observations I read from here and other forums. Please validate if these are true.

    a. Headlight is not so bright
    b. Tailgate is a bit hard to close
    c. Ride is a bit bumpy on the Titanium variant
    d. Steering gets heavier as time passes

Some of these might be isolated cases, but we will know better when more owners chime in and share their experiences.

    - Upgrade ng SYNC 2 - navigation, etc... so far very limited use... at least for titanium.
    - DRL that we can turn-off, not very useful namana ng DRL sa pinas.
    - fuel consumption gauge... this is a pet peeve of mine... as in super in accurate! di ko alam kung yung mileage or yung FC ang may mali..
    - yung stock na ilaw mahina, pero i changed to osram nb already - easy lng ito i fix... soon sana ma HID ko na.. hehe

Sir, bumpy rin ba ung base model, ambiente? Or is this evident on all Everest variant?

Titanium lang ang bumpy kasi naka 20 inch na mags. Pero pag napalitan yung oem tires ng mas malaki na 275/55r20 parehas na sila ng trend model ng ride.

and to put things in better perspective, according to australian reviews yung titanium model with its oem 65/50r20 tires has BETTER RIDE THAN THE NEW 2016 FORTUNER with its 265/60r18 tires. So kung parehas sila ng tires (265/60r18) mas maganda pa lalo ang ride ng everest kesa sa fortuner na bago.

I don't find it bumpy... Test drive mo...

[emoji4][emoji106]

    - a tumbling second row seats for easy ingress/egress of third row passengers.

being able to slide the second row seats is nice though.

Cheaper PMS for turbocharged Ford diesel engines. It's too much

Having driven it for dozens of kilometers off-road... with the 20" wheels... it's actually pretty good considering how thin the sidewalls are.

It's a very subjective thing. There are people who are not used to driving around on low-profile tires.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

Are the new owners (got their units April 2016, May2016) still experiencing the problems with their unit, as reported here?

I got my unit first week of April and the only problem so far was the headlamp angle. The off-center steering wheel is still for correction, but Ford already acknowledged the issue and for rectification anytime.

Hi, first time owning an suv with beige interior and this is my only problem for now. How do you keep it clean mga sirs? 1 week pa unit ko pero marumi na in some parts. May jean stains na rin sa driver's seat. Any recommended cleaning materials that is effective and not too harmful sa leather?
I don't mind that this suv has a stiffer suspension than my old montero but a dirty interior is a much bigger headache for me. Anyone else that could relate?😁

It's not a case of the Eve having a stiffer suspension than your old Monty but rather the Titanium having 20" rims that makes the ride bumpier. The Trend variant with its 18" rims can almost be as good as the ride quality of the new Monty.

    Hi Guys,

I think listed below are what makes the Ford Everest Titanium 2.2L 4x2 AT with Premium Package more desirable than other 4x2 mid-size SUVs currently available in the Philippines.

    1. 20" Alloy Wheels
    2. 265/50/R20 Road Tires
    3. Electronic Power Assisted Steering (EPAS) Steering
    4. HID Projector Type Headlamps with Auto Levelling, Automatic on/off and Washer
    5. Side Mirror with Blind Spot Information System (BLIS)
    6. Rain Sensing Wipers
    7. 230V Inverter
    8. Dual Electronic Automatic Temperature Control (DEATC) Aircon
    9. SYNC Gen 3
    10. Dual Panel Moonroof
    11. Cruise Control
    12. Electrochromic Rear View Mirror
    13. Heads-Up Display Warning (Collision Mitigation)
    14. Volumetric Burglar Alarm
    15. Rear Park Assist
    16. Front Park Assist
    17. Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)
    18. Electronic Stability Program (ESP) + Roll Stability Control (RSC)
    19. Hill Start Assist
    20. Trailer Sway Control
    21. Electronic Park Control
    22. Adjustable Speed Limiter
    23. Adaptive Cruise Control
    24. Lane Keeping System
    25. Collision Mitigation
    26. Active Park Assist
    27. My Key

Do you think it is worth having all these? Are they really useful (if you know what I mean)?

    Thanks
